Rating: Summary: best futuristic movie Review: Its feels good to see so many 5 stars to one of my favourates. I have seen it many times. The movie is in future but the way we are trying to seek prefection using artificial methods the story may come true. But the messge is clear, nothing can beat human dreams.
Rating: Summary: Great Plot! Review: You know, I was reluctant to watch it for sometime, because I was afraid that I'd not like it. I'm a hard-core science fiction fan, and any sci-fi show with no hardware is kinda weird to me.But I finally watched it (DVD version) 2 weeks back... And I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the depth of this show. Thoroughly enjoyed it!
Rating: Summary: Splendid! Review: I was afraid to see the reviews of this movie because I expected to find a bunch morons critisizing it because they rented it expecting to see space ships and laser guns. This movie is one of those rare films that relies on plot to keep you interested rather than special effects. Now don't get me wrong, I like special effects, but it's refreshing to find a movie that has very few special effects but is still good. I also liked the subtle hints of futuristic stuff. For instance: The sky was so polluted that it was never blue. It was always orange and cloudy. And the cars didn't go "VROOM!" They made more of a soft, electric buzz.
Rating: Summary: A social commentary with substance and style Review: A sqeaky-clean contrast to the grimy backdrop of cyberpunk classics like Blade Runner and, most recently, The Matrix, the futuristic environment of Gattica is the perfect setting for the moral debate this movie presents. In an age where good sci-fi is hard to come by, Gattica is one of a handful of sci-fi projects that stands up to repeated viewings and in-depth cinematic analysis. Brilliantly conceived and flawlessly executed.
Rating: Summary: GREAAT Review: SUPER DUPER GREA
Rating: Summary: A classic Review: This movie is one of the most inspiring movies ever made
Rating: Summary: Eugenics-battleground of the future Review: Those of us who were moved by Gattaca couldn't help but think, "Would I want my baby genetically engineered?" Deep down the answer is yes, especially if you think (and you do) that genetic makeup is a predictor of success in this life (and it is). Handsomer, more beautiful, more intelligent people do have an edge in this life and don't bother denying it. Society may resist but it will only be temporarily. While there was an element of "nightmarish" attributes given to Gattaca, we have seen worse nightmare scenarios for the future. Eugenics will be a battleground issue. Afterall, that is what WW II was really about. I'm surprised it has taken so long to come to the fore again. Ugly or not eugenics will rear its head in the "not too distant future."
Rating: Summary: Brilliant and inspiring Review: Absolute brilliance. The message of Gattaca will inspire those with heart and honor those who can make the ultimate achievement. Unable to rely on natural gifts that he does not have, and unwilling to let others dictate his future, Vincent demonstrates what pure spirit is all about. Irene, his girlfriend, in awe of Vincent's feats, automatically attributes his success to raw talent, not hard work. That my friends, is how people who don't try very hard live with themselves. If you are someone who has beat the elite at their own game, through sheer heart, this movie is for you.

Rating: Summary: Gattaca: A Perfect Movie Review: Ethan Hawke performed very good. He is the most attractive character in the movie! He played the role far better than I had expected! I cannot use any word to describe it with any sort of imagination! He is perfect! I love Ethan Hawke so you may think it is subjective, but the movie is perfect in all aspects, it is objective! I am honest to say the person who see this film is good!
