Summary: I'll Be Right Here...
Review: How can you describe a film that touches you from the age 5 and still has the same effect on you when your 13. Classic doesnt do E.T. justice. Et is more than a classic. Its more than a masterpiece. E.T. is more like a life altering expierence. Anyone reading this review who doesnt already own E.T. I strongly recommend you buy it. Go to the video store nearest you an purchase it. Its a superb film that was scrubbed out of an Oscar by Ghandi. E.T. was 100 times more deserving of an Oscar then Ghandi. E.T. is an expierence of a life time for you and your kids to come. Trust Me.

Summary: Masterpiece
Review: Steven Spielberg's film "E.T the Extra Terrestrial" is one of the greatest movies ever made. Behind the Sci-Fi/Fantasy plot, it is a story about love and friendship. The main character, Elliott, (played by Henry Thomas) gives a wonderful performance for a 10-year boy.

This masterpiece is filled with laughter and sadness. Let your imagination run wild, if you are willing to believe. Let go of the jam-packed realism of today. Forget the new and eccentric films loaded with ideas of nonsense. This movie is pure and magical.

If you want to rent a movie the whole family can enjoy, "E.T." should be your first choice. The soundtrack (by John Williams) will lift your spirits. There will never be another film like this one. "E.T." touched a generation, and it will forever be a classic.

Review: WHEN THE EXTRA TERRESTRIAL GIVE THE LAST EMOTION TO ELLIOT

Summary: A corny kids film
Review: I just saw this movie for the first time. To me, this is purely kids stuff. I find it boring, badly acted, an unimaginative plot, and sappy. Emotionally, it does nothing for me. The crass commercialism of flashing brand names such as Reese's pieces and Reynolds Wrap is offensive to me. Calling one's brother "penis breath" hardly rates as family fare, and zillions of kids must have emulated that line. One minute E.T. can't talk and the next minute he's speaking the human language and understanding everything--it's all too silly. I have no empathy for the poor, ugly creature--Sorry! Aside from the language, I guess it's an OK older kids (say ages 8-14 or so) film, but a yawner for adults. But then, I'm rarely impressed with Hollywood.

Summary: ET go find some acting talent.
Review: For a man of such great directng ability Speilberg sure screwed up on this film. I thought that this movie was totally unimaginative and just full of too much sentiment. ET doesn't stand for Extra Terrestrial but Enormously Tacky. Henry Thomas has totally no acting talent, and Drew Barrymore hasn't improved any either. If I were Speilberg I would try to not make such boring, childish films that have no point.

Summary: A Definite Masterpiece
Review: I first saw this movie when I was eight years old when my mother bought it for me and my sister. I didn't understand it at first but now every time I watch it I cry. This movie really goes to show why Steven Speilberg has got to be one of the best directors of all time. As for you fans out there that don't care for Sci-Fi pictures and are reluctant to see it, rent it, it is Sci-Fi in the very least.

Summary: A Classic Not to be Forgotten
Review: This is also my all time favourite movie. I also saw this when I was very young. I barely remember the details, but refreshed my memory when I watched it again in grade 5. That was a long time ago too. Now that I'm 20, I wish to own a copy of this movie. There are a few reasons why I love this movie: 1) Old movies from 80's portray aliens as friendly beings, whereas now they are all X-File killer things 2) The music is none other than John William's 3) Brings back childhood memories 4) Very touching story, all in the style of the 80's...too bad we don't get stories like that anymore
