Rating: Summary: Honey... This Machine just called me an *sshole!!!! Review: BEST HORROR MOVIE EVER! Stephen King must've worked his *ss off to make an awesome movie like this!! The movies great, it has an awesome sundtrack by AC/DC and it had Emilio Estevez as the perfect actor! Maximum Overdrive sure is Stephen King's best work ever.
Rating: Summary: Pretty good Review: This movie is good because it gave people what they expected to see. Stephen King spent most of his time directing the trucks, so the actors kind of messed up on their own. Boy I wish King would direct a second movie.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST STEPHEN KING MOVIE EVER! Review: TRUCKS, TRUCKS, AND MORE TRUCKS! This movie is the best movie that I have ever seen because of two things. 1.)All of the AWESOME TRUCKS 2.)DIESEL FUEL This film was awesome, and reminds me of the good old days when movies had great actors in it like EMILIO ESTEVEZ, and all the great TRUCK DRIVERS!
Rating: Summary: I can't believe this is Stephen King!!!!!!!!!!!! Review: I cant believe Stephen King could make such a piece of junk. The movie started out pretty good which is why it got 2 stars, but plummeted from thier. Instead of continuing the idea of Steamrolers crushing people and lawnmowers chasing people, they make it into attack of the killer Mack truck. It is also kind of funny that the shop owner has an RPG and m16's convieniently sitting in the back of his shop. I do not recomend this movie to anyone who doesnt want to waste two hours of thier day.
Rating: Summary: Maximum Over...blown stupidity! Review: Even Steve King said he was out to make a bad movie... It's extremely derivitave and has been done...better...many times before. Amazingly, movies like this (driverless trucks *Shudder* are killin' simple folk out in the middle of nowhere! See USA network's "Trucks", etc.) Any movie in which Emilio Estevez is one of the best reasons for watching it is in trouble, not even Stephen King's name being attached could save it. It's boring to boot. For a quote that is about as original as the movie itself, "The Book was Better." Check out Stephen King's short story (also a low point, actually) instead. I came up with a similar story myself, when I was four years old and couldn't see any driver in this huge 18-wheeler coming down the road. Maybe King was getting in touch with his inner child...
Rating: Summary: Not nearly the best Stephen King movie out there. Review: My son and I like it from a comedic standpoint. We find it humorous. We like the pop machine and steamroller scenes the best. Plenty of violence.
Rating: Summary: Testosterone Overload. Review: This movie is for "dudes." You know those movies that are so bad, they're good? This is worse. It's NOT good. It is devoid of substance. Artlessness defined. And i love it. Trucks, explosions, guns, blood, chicks, and AC/DC. All you need is this flick, a wifebeater tanktop, a 24-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon, and 2 or 3 unemployed buddies to share the beer and banality. The first time i saw this, after it was over i discovered that in 90 minutes my hair had grown long in back and i had developed a mustache and an intense need to work on an El Camino in the front yard. Amazing stuff. This is what happens when Stephen King directs his own materials--utter rot. Just don't watch it with your girlfriend--i can guarantee she won't understand (if she does, break up with her ASAP).
Rating: Summary: good Review: The movie could have been better. I love the Who Made Who soundtrack. That deserves the rating.
Rating: Summary: killer trucks!!!! Review: I personally was not very impressed with this movie, however my four year old son LOVES it so I give it four stars for keeping him occupied.
Rating: Summary: If you like car chases, this is your movie. Review: PLOT: A commet passing close to Earth has effected all man-made machines (including sprinklers!), and is resulting in machines acting on their own.QUICK VIEW: In this movie, there are 16-Wheelers of many kinds and they are all out to get a group of people in a Truck Stop somewhere in the USA.
