Summary: A Cookie Cutter Romance Of A Movie
Review: When i mean cookie cutter i mean it. Down To You is one ofthose sugar coated roamance movies that is light fluffy mindlessentertainment that it tries to be so sweet and innocent that you could get diabetes from it. Down To You is about a couple of college students in the Big Apple who fall in love. They talk about past relationships and their future they have a fight then get together. They meet the boy's parents although i must say that the fonz Henry Winkler is amusing as a chef. Written and Directed by first timer Kirs Isacsson tries to make something new about this tired genre and smart and funny. But Ultimately is just cliche after cliche. Their is nothing original to the story. Sure Freddie Prinze Jr. is handsome as always but he is just like every other character he has played a pretty boy falling in love. If he dosn't break out of this genre he will be stereotyped as a high school teen idol. Or if you want to the male version of Meg Ryan. Who is always bright and sunny but will never break out of light romances. But it is Julia Stiles who is the better of the two leads. She is sunny shows some emotional ranges and is very attractive. When you get down to it the only people who will enjoy it will be 15 year old girls who love these kinds of movies. To be fair their is nothing wrong with this movie it had some funny parts mainly with Selma Blair who is a sex crazed attic. Other than that it is predictible and mindless. Nothing that a smart script and some innovative directing wouldn't have cured. Maybe Amy Heckerling would have been more suited who knows the teen romance area.

Summary: Why Julia? Why Freddie?
Review: Ok, I rented this movie thinking it to be a fairly good movie. Really, I didn't know what to think since noone I knew had seen it, neither had I seen any reviews written anywhere, and it didn't stay in the theater long here. So I rented, and watched it. It seemed like forever while I was watching it. All I am asking is why waste GREAT talent (Freddie Prinze, Jr., Julia Stiles) on such a dull movie. Don't get me wrong, their acting was great (except for Selma Blair playing a porn star), but the plot was totally predictable. When the credits rolled, I understood why noone reviewed this nor saw it.

Review: Nothing much to this movie, actually. Two people fall in love, then they break up. Yeah great. There's nothing much to say, because there isn't much going on. It's like a nice praised vase, only empty. Really futile time spending. I've rated this movie 2 stars because it's not all bad. The director / writer have put their thoughts into the actual presentation of the film, and it kinda reminds you of an Ally McBeal episode - a collection of associations, and memories, presented in a nice, attractive way. It's like a nice gift, where you open up a great wrapping and discover a pencil sharpener at the end.

Review: ok, i was reading the other reviews (most GOOD) and I was thinking :Are these people out of their minds! " This is honestly the WORST movie I have ever seen! The story makes no sense, the acting is horrible, and it is dragged out for WAY too long of a time! I would not reccomend this to anyone, considering the funniest moment of this "romantic-comedy" as when someone told an 11-year old Julia Stiles she "kissed like a fish" and followed by throwing a basketball at her. This moie is just too ridiculous for words. If you don't believe me, attempt to watch it and find out for yourself!

Summary: A movie you'll never forget
Review: "Down To You" is a romantic comedy-drama unlike any other, combining the two kings of romatic comedies Freddie Prinze Jr. and Julia Stiles. After I saw "10 Things I Hate About You", and got it on DVD, it was at that point I thought Julia Stiles could not get any better. But she did. Julia delivers a bang up performance that will bring you to tears in certain scenes, as near the end she exercizes her remarkable ability to make herself cry. And Freddie Prinze Jr. delivers a performance typical of his other movies that girls find irresistible. The whole point is, this is another example of a drama being sold as a comedy, because this most certainly is a drama. Sure, some things were funny, but this truly is a drama that you will never forget. Watch this movie!

Review: This movie was not so realistic as people say it was. I am a teenager and I have many friends and none of us act in that way. Producers have to stop doing teenage movies, I hate when one thing does so well and everybody has to copy off them. I mean how many movies have you seen Freddie Prinze Jr. in. It is kinda ridiculous. The movie literally made me fall asleep. However, I did awake and finish watching it. They did try to make a good movie but the only people that you see are freddie and julia really. It could have did better, but its ok. There was no laughter or drama, this movie was really about nothing

Review: Now, I'm a person who loves DVD, even though I have a very small collection, but I'm building! But my concept of a DVD is that any idiot can watch a movie, but the extras are more entertaining! And as of this movie, I believe any idiot SHOULD watch this movie, it's very romantic and entertaining. But come on.....NO EXTRAS? I'd rather buy the VHS! They could of included a trailer, I would of bought it, MAYBE some commentary, MAYBE a TV spot, I would waste no time to buy it. But NO! Nothing! All I can hope is that Miramax comes out with a collector's edition pretty soon, and give this wonderful movie the treatment recieved by "Scream 3", "Good Will Hunting", and "Shakespeare In Love": the collector's edition treatment!

Summary: Don't See It!
Review: You can't say I don't like this movie because I'm to old to get it because I'm 17 and I still hated it. The characters and situations were so unrealistic and I was embarrassed for the actors that they had to deliver awful lines. I didn't connect with the two leads at all. I enjoyed Julia Stiles performance in 10 Things I Hate About You and I like Freddie Prinze Jr., so I thought I would like this movie but it was so dissappointing. Just trust me, don't see it.
