Summary: I use it to teach with...But I WANT THE MUSIC for myself!
Review: Who knew there were so many other people wanting the incredible soundtrack to this fun movie? Does anyone who can make a difference read these reviews? Boy, is there money to be made on this! I've spent 2 years searching for it and often turn on the movie just to hear some of the music. I teach senior English and we study Kingsolver's Animal Dreams for our contemporary literature piece...a parallel story in many ways to Fools Rush In. So it seems appropriate to use this movie in our study of contemporary film. They both provide a strong SouthWestern flavor and address issues of blending the Anglo and Hispanic cultures, unwed pregnancy, election of marriage partners, career choices, dealing with parents... This all provides starting points for journal writing and discussions that are relevent and meaningful to 18 year olds. And besides, the kids--boys and girls--just love it! What more could a teacher ask for? (but here's a little secret, I watch it at home too).

Summary: Fools Rush In strikes a familar cord
Review: I guess the reason that I liked the movie so much is I'm also in a cross cultural relationship with a hispanic woman. So I had my eyes wide open for anything I may have encountered. The movie was dead on perfect from the hot hispanic temper to the gentle love shown by Isabelle. The weekly family dinner where Alex was so warmly welcomed is also something that I have experienced. I will watch and have watched this movie over and over. Hispanic women are the bomb. And so was Salma in this flick.

Summary: A great romantic comedy
Review: This is really a good movie, very sweet and funny. Matthew Perry and Salma Hayek are very talented and have great chemistry. I love the Mexican backdrop of this movie, for those people who are unfamiliar to any culture besides American, this is a movie where you can see the differences between opinions and cultures and how you can cultivate that. A great movie, I absolutely love it!

Review: I watched this movie several times and always enjoy it every time. I cannot imagine why a soundtrack was never made from this movie. The music is great -- I'm sure it would still be a popular selling soundtrack. Somebody goofed!!!

Review: I think this is one of the funniest and one of the most romantic movies I have ever seen. The scene where Isabelle is talking to her grandmother, and her grandmother warns her that she will never know love until she surrenders to it is one of the most touching things I have ever witnessed.

Review: This has become my most favorite movie of all time. I've seen it more times than I can count, and I haven't gotten tired of it. I only wish there was a soundtrack. I've looked everywhere, but I don't think it exists. Matthew Perry plays the role well. I don't think they could've cast this movie better.

Review: This is one of my favorite movies- Salma Hayek and Matthew Perry are wonderful and very talented. I loved the scenery and the cultural touches. The story is great and every scene is wonderful. I had to own this movie, even though I rented it countless times. All that is missing is the Soundtrack! I want it!!
