Summary: Great!
Review: As Good As It Gets is an incredible film. Should've won Academy Award for best film. This film is really As Good As It Gets

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Slow starter but worth the wait, it gets better and better.
Review: Initially I was disappointed, it seemed very slow, but as the film goes on you just become so involved with characters. Both Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson were deserving of their Oscars. What more can I say, buy it, if you enjoy it as much as I did/do, it will be money well spent.

Summary: A DVD Must Own
Review: I enjoyed As Good As It Gets when I first watched it at the theater, but now that I've seen it again on video, I have come to truly appreciate the brilliance of the script. In particular, I was struck by the depth of the film's characters, including the supporting characters. The DVD significantly added to the viewing experience, as it includes insightful and revealing commentary from (among others) Brooks, Nicholson, Hunt and Kinnear. Nicholson was perhaps even more amusing on the commentary.

Summary: unbelievably human and real-life like
Review: these are great actors. nicholson has always been my modern-day favorite. this is my first time to see helen hunt and i am so glad i did. but the thing that impressed me beyond words is the words themselves. or the thoughts produced by them. i found myself hanging on every word at times. i guess what impressed me the most about this movie was how one person (brooks) ever understood so much about human feelings and was able to translate them to the screen.

Summary: One of the greatest movies
Review: I was forced to watch this movie. I did NOT want to see it at all! So.. I sat through the movie and actually started to enjoy it. The movie was great! Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear, and Cuba Gooding Jr. do a great job of acting in this hilarious movie. It is now a movie I own and can recite line by line. I strongly recommend this movie!

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Although not for everyone, this out-of-the-ordinary film is definetly something to watch again and again. That's basically what you have to do to understand the whole movie. The actors and actresses are all very convincing. However, this is not a film for the average person...some of the blows directed at Hunts' small son will make you flinch, to say the least. However, it's all too true and a rare and good movie.

Summary: If this is the state of witty dialogue, we're in trouble.
Review: There are a few (very few) amusing moments, but the overall spirit of the film is entirely flat. This represents the low point of Brooks long descent into mid-cult mediocrity. It isn't the kind of mediocrity that one can vege out in front of, though, rather its attempts to hit the target in the lowest-common denominator funny bone get increasingly grating and insulting, to the point that by the end of the movie I wanted to see the entire cast drawn & quartered, and the writer and director in stockades. Avoid at all costs.

Summary: This movie was one of the worst movies I have ever seen!
Review: I Thought this movie was horrible. The age difference between the two actors (Hunt and Nicholson) was too huge a gap to make an enjoyable movie. Jack's character was horribly mean and in reality, Helen's character would have never looked at him again after he said such awful things about her son. If it were possible, I would have given it 0 stars. I wouldn't recommend this movie to even my worst enemy.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Very good movie. I enjoyed it even more the second time.
Review: I'm not a big fan of Jack Nicholson, but he was wonderful in this movie. I laughed at some of the corny ways he acted. Helen Hunt was terrific as usual. Great support from Cuba Gooding, Jr. and Greg Kinnear. I enjoyed the movie even more the second time I saw it. I'm sending this movie to my mother-in-law for Christmas.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Truly great story, acting, ... the best!
Review: Great Nicholson, excellent Helen Hunt, andall others, including an impression of Jack(part of the movie) by Kinnear. If you likeJack, if you like Helen Hunt, If you like agood love story, you'll love it. Also - onthe DVD listen to the narration by Jack, Helen, James Brooks, and Kinnear.
