Summary: Very Funny...
Review: I recommend this movie to everyone. Austin Powers (both movies) There is Something about Mary, SouthPark, and Beavis and Butthead are also good dry comedic movies to round out your vegetation movie catalog...

Summary: Adam Sandler Is THE WEDDING SINGER
Review: THE WEDDING SINGER is a comedy about life and love in 1985. Adam Sandler is Robbie Hart, a rock star wannabe who has a job singing at people's weddings. When Robbie gets left at the altar by the girl he wanted to marry on his wedding day, he feels as if he has nothing left to live for...but then he meets a girl named Julia (played by the sexy Drew Barrymore) and begins to fall in love with her, but the only problem is that she is engaged to a guy who goes around cheating on her without her knowing about it. Now it's up to Robbie to step in and save the day. This movie has the right mixture of romance and halarious comedy. For fans of Adam Sandler and comedy in general!

Summary: It only gets competition from Happy Gilmore...
Review: big daddy and waterboy just weren't enough, and weren't funny combined as much as this movie was. this movie is probably one of his only movie with a story that fits real life situations. happy guilmore was pretty funny too. ignore the other 2, and just watch happy guilmore and don't miss the wedding singer.

Summary: 80s Flash Back Love Story -- Wonderful Entertainment!
Review: Adam Sandler (a Wedding Singer) and Drew Barrymore (a waitress) first meet at someone else's wedding. They soon meet again, when Barrymore is making plans for her own wedding (to a total jerk), even though deep inside she feels that she's "settling" for security without true love. Meanwhile Sandler finds out about the two-timing bozo, when the groom-to-be brags about his adventures with every sexy girl that comes along. Secretly in love with Barrymore, Sandler eventually sweeps her off her feet.-- Look for a great cameo appearance by Billy Idol. The air plane "proposal" is a sweet highlight, you'll love it! The soundtrack (all hits of the mid 80s) is a nice touch, too. From "Love Stinks" to "99 Luftballoons" it's all there. -- This is my favorite Adam Sandler movie, and I like all of them. Treat yourself to a bag-a-laughs and a few mushy moments, this is top entertainment!

Summary: Happens to be my favorite by Sandler by far
Review: For some reason it just is. It's kinda for the 80-ish people. Well, I've never watched Big Daddy but it also sounds good. It has great characters on this, and I'm not really a Drew Barrymore guy. In that case I'm the minority again. For some it's fun to watch again and again. Anyways, it's pretty cool.

First, Julia (Drew Barrymore) likes this one guy named Glen. He's real rich and has almost everything. Especially for that time. Late in the movie she decides she doesn't like him, and it was just for the money. But I skipped a lot so it would be more fun for you to watch and my review would become dead. That's what I try doing with most of my reviews. Just getting sections, but later they see what REALLY happens.

Well, Adam Sandler's character is pretty funny on it too. He says this one song he made up was half in the breakup and half when they were together. You should REALLY watch it around that part. And he was also talking to Glen how it was funny that he (Glen) had the last name Gulia. And how if they married her name would be Julia Gulia. Glen didn't get it.

This is overall essential no matter what them reviewers said. Also look at their reviews though so you can find out some more about this movie if you aren't sure right now.

Summary: Funny movie -- and even better on DVD
Review: The Wedding Singer is one of the funniest movies of the 90's, not to mention (in my opinion) Adam Sandler's best. This movie has everything from a Billy Idol cameo to a rapping granny- and it's even better on DVD, with an original interactive menu including tons of cool bonuses: 5 Karaoke Songs ("White Wedding", "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me", "Rapper's Delight", "Every Little Thing she does is Magic" and "Hold Me Now"), 80's Music Trivia, Cast Bios and Filmographies, a Photo Gallery and Widescreen & Fullscreen movie versions. Watching this movie always makes me laugh, and I'm glad I got all the extras on the DVD version. The Wedding Singer is a great comedy to add to anyone's DVD collection.

Summary: A Comedy with crude humor wrapped in a heart - warming shell
Review: This is one of the best comedys ever made!! I love adam sandler films. I can't wait till little nicky comes to DVD. This DVD has great features. It also is a hillarious movie with a great cast of stars including drew barrymore and more. IT also has cameos including Billy Idol and more. It also has great old, eighty songs. If you want a raunchy comedy that has a heart - warming ending, then buy the wedding singer on DVD. You will be (singing) for more!!

Summary: Early Adam Sandler Classic
Review: Adam Sandler plays sweet guy Robbie Hart in mid 1980's New Jersey. In my opinion, this is one of Sandler's best pictures (Happy Gilmore was the other classic). He's not a mega-blockbuster funnyman yet who's trying to be overly pretentious & hilarious here... maybe that's what draws me to this movie. Drew Barrymore is great as Julia, his friend and eventual wife (I was never a Barrymore fan until this movie). Some great scenes... Hart singing "Love Stinks" at one of his gigs; Hart on a few ocassions getting the best of Julia's ... boyfriend; Hart singing his soulful incomplete love song about his 'ex' to Julia; and Robbie's bandmate singing Culture Club's "Do You Really Want To Hurt Me" (twice). Sandler has a heart in this movie... he has wit, charm, and an unquitting character. Nice cameo by Mr."Dancin' With Myself", Billy Idol, and a great soundtrack - if you grew up liking 80's music.
