Review: I, like other reviewers, was skeptical about what I would get for such a low price. But, after five months of use, I can give an enthusiastic "thumbs up." The speakers are clean and the sound is more than sufficient for our rather large bedroom. The DVD is fairly easy to use and has all the whistles and bells that I need. I used the customer service once when I had a problem with programing and got through quickly and reached a service rep. that actually knew the product! He fixed my dilemma in less than 90 seconds. Incredible in today's market (Hello Compaq, take notes from these guys). In today's high tech market there are great buys to be found at the bottom-end of consumer electronic products, and the Norcent DP1600 DVD Home Theater is one of them. Highly recommended.

Review: It has it all! It palys DVD, MP3, VCD, Music CD, CD-R, and even MPEG files. It also includes the receiver and speaker system. What is not so good is that only two front speakers and subwoofer have sounds when playing anything other than DVDs that support Dolby Digital 5.1-channel surround sound. And the subwoofer is too weak. Anyhow, what can you expect fot [inexpensive] system? I say it is a great buy!

It plays pretty much every format and every media.
The only thing that I do not like about this is the unit gets hot.

Review: Its a great product for about a hundred bucks. It's got a built in amp and the audio output is fairly good. DVDs play good and picture quality is excellent. Surround & center speakers dont work for audio and MP3 CDs but thats Ok if you look at the cost. I ve heard you also get a crack code and you can play all region DVDs on it. If you dont want to spend a lot of money, this is a wise choice. One bad thing, it does not have bass and trable control.

Not a bad product, but it is not a decent one either. With less than $150, what else can we expect for this system. We got what we paid for. This one is O.K for an office or a small room, definitely not for a big living room. The New Norcent DP1800 could be better because it contains powerful speakers and am/fm radio, but you have to pay more.

Review: You can't ask for more value than what this Norcent bundle delivers. Great DVD player with built-in amplifier and six very decent speakers make this the poor man's movie theater. Thanks Amazon for a great price!
