Rating: Summary: Zero recommandation Review: I purchased one about 4 moths ago... For first month it worked great. However as time goes by, there is a problem with playing DVD and CD. First time slot #3 and #4 didn't work. Right now all 5 slots do not work at all. It always shows 'disk error' whenever insert DVD or CD. I guess there is a problem with alignment between turn table and reader. Also, their repair shops are located far a way from my house. Even I live in San Jose, there is none repairing shop. So I need to drive at least one hour to get free repair. Over all I do NOT like this product at all.
Rating: Summary: Beware of DVD player Review: I purchased the set 11/02. I have been very pleased with the speakers, receiver and remote. The 5-disc DVD carousel worked well initially, but within 6 months began occasionally giving "Disk error" with some CDs and DVDs. Othertimes, the DVD carousel drawer would inexplicably open when I was just selecting a different disk already loaded. Finally, one month out of the 1-yr. warranty, the DVD player broke completely, trapping 5 disks inside. Onkyo dragged their feet allowing the unit to be examined, and finally claimed it was my abuse that caused it. I have owned Onkyo stereo components for 13 years, but will never buy them again.

Rating: Summary: Great Product Review: If you don't want the hassle of buying a 5 disk(CD+CDRW+DVD+DVDRW) progressive scan player, a receiver set, a speaker set, cables and then think about compatibility issues yet want a great product, this is the ideal product! Been using it for the past 6 months. Great sound quality, tons of options and customization, easy setup, and playes mp3 too!
