Summary: sweet and romantic, a great date movie
Review: I don't exactly know how to start with my review. Probably because I don't know which among the many great moments in this movie I liked best. But one of them definitely is its great soundtrack. The score and the music of the movie blended very well to set the mood and the atmosphere being love is in the air. It was also the movie where I was introduced to Cameron Diaz. I think what made the movie worked for the audience is the fact that the plot line is too common that almost everybody can relate to. And top to that, a great ending that I think worked best for the movie. This movie has a huge repeat value. You would fall for it over and over again. I can't really think of a romantic comedy much better than My Best Friend's Wedding. Entertaining and highly amusing.

Review: I don't understand all the fuss about Julia Roberts, she doesn't play very well and she isn't even good looking! Cameron Diaz instead is magnificiant in her role, she's totaly convincing and really beautiful. This movie deserves 5 stars mainly because she's in it. The story is quite good, it's funny at times. If you want some entertainement or you want to see Cameron Diaz, buy this movie.

Review: I would just like to say that this movie deserves 5 stars because of the actors, music, plot, setting and acting. It was absolutely superb. I loved the actors; Julia Roberts (Julianne) was magnificent and most certainly took her position in my heart as my favourite actress. She is absolutely gorgous and sure can act. After I saw Dermot Mulroney in this movie, I went to watch other movies with him like 'About Schmidt'. Rupert Everett is funny and really knows his role in the movie. And what can I say about Cameron Diaz, she married the man of our dreams. No matter how many times I watch this movie I am never going to stop loving it. Rock on.

Review: I have to agree that this movie is the best romantic comedy i've ever seen. The atmosphere is very light and the cast really Good and harmonious together. Synopsis, Plot and Characters:
Julianne (Julia Roberts) is a food critic who's devoted to her job and has had this best friend forever, Michael (Dermot Mulroney). After nine years of friendship, he phones her one night saying he's getting married in four days (To Kimmy, played by Cameron Diaz). Julianne has "Four days to break up the wedding, steal the brides' fella, and don't have a clue how to do it".
Romantic Comedy at its Culminant Point:
The scene of the boat in the movie is the first scene where we see Julianne and Michael Together alone. This moment brings on Romance to the film, in a way we've never seen. Greatly Directed by P.J Hogan (Muriel's Wedding), other scenes such as the confession, and the wedding seem to have an emotinal impact on the viewer.
The Music:
Also Featured in this film, is a sequence where all the cast sings "I say a little prayer".
The soundtrack is essential to buy with the DVD. Composed by James Newton Howard, the music gives an extra to the movie. You will listen to it over and over again, especially at Christmas. Why?... I don't Know!
At the end:
This is the first film i dare to say is the Best in all the romantic comedies i've seen. It shows a story which is very real and could happen to anyone: Choosing between Love & Friendship.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Also recommended if you loved this title: Only You (1994) / America's Sweethearts (2001)

Dermot Mulroney is my favourite actor, and Julia Poberts is my favourite actress, and together they make my favourite movie of all time. Rupert Everett acts really well and makes this movie funnier. You've just gotta watch this movie, and find out if Julianne( Julia Roberts) and Michael( Dermot Mulroney) get back together again.

Review: I'm usually not into Julia Roberts' comedies but this one really made me laugh. MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING is seriously the ultimate giuide for being a hater. It's a light hearted romantic comedy and seriously, Rupert Everett steals the show. Julia Roberts and Sermot Mulroney aren't too bad either. And a pretty good performance from Cameron Diaz is always good. Roberts has just been named Maid of Honor at her best friend's, Mulroney, wedding. Realizing that she's still in love with him, she goes to the wedding with plans of stopping it for her own personal gain. The best part of this movie, Rupert Everett. He really takes it home in this one and it makes you forget about DUNSTON CHECKS IN. This was one of the best roles he's picked up. This is a really good romantic comedy and like I said before, for anyone planning to trash a wedding, here's your instructional video. Enjoy!

Summary: A fun, light-hearted comedy
Review: This isn't movie making at it's theatrical best, but this movie certainly has some laughs. The relationship between Julia Roberts' character and her gay best friend really drives the movie. Rupert Everett provides a wonderful performance and really steals the show. I'm not the biggest Cameron Diaz fan, but she did a good job playing the most naive person you'll ever see. All in all, check reality at the door and laugh along with it - and I particularly loved that the ending wasn't what we all expected for our heroine!
