Summary: Great, friendly, family movie...
Review: I admit it... I saw this movie on it's first day out in theaters. It's a down-to-earth fun, non-violent movie (well, with the exception of a well deserved punch).

It was great to see Lance and Joey doing something else than supporting NSYNC... This is the kind of movie that I would want my neices to see because it is PG and is cute. Not intended for young children because they won't understand the plot.

It's funny, charasmatic, and has some great laughs. A cameo by Al Greene and by Richie Sambora help make the movie even cuter. Another highlight is Joey singing a cover of "Pour Some Sugar On Me" by Def Leppard that had the entire theater in stitches.

Can't forget when Joey sings "Ready To Fall" (available on the soundtrack) which Merideth Edwards recorded for her debut album "Reach" and was written by Richard Marx. Getting to hear Joey solos is always a plus!

Yes, I'm an NSYNC fan... Proud and true...

Summary: It was worth it to drive an hour away to see this movie!
Review: Lance and Joey can act pretty good. And, yes I am an Nsync fan. I had to drive an hour away to see this movie and it was worth it.

Lance plays Kevin Gibbons, a shy ad exec who has had problems with talking to girls in the past. He meets a beautiful girl, Abbey on the L train in Chicago, played by Emmanuelle Chriqu (From 'Snow Day'). He forgets to get her phone number and name. The movie is predictable, but it is also enjoyable for the whole family, unlike Serendipity (which I am not seeing) which is more 'adult' in nature.

I think the movie would have earned more money in the theatre if Miramax had released this movie in more cities.

Bottom Line: Yes, Nsync fans will enjoy this, but also families can enjoy this, too.

Summary: This is a really good movie!!!
Review: I don't care what any of the negative reviews say. I bought this movie and I absolutely love it!!!!! It is just a sweet, romantic comedy that the whole family can enjoy. Out of everyone I know that has seen this movie, none of them dislike it! And let me tell you something else... it is not just little 13 year old *NSYNC "teenyboppers" that love this movie. Pretty much everyone that I told you enjoyed this movie are not fans of them. Some of the negative reviews on here are pretty harsh and that leads me to believe that they were written by people who have some kind of strange hatred for the group.Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, and Emmanuelle Chiriqui are quite good in this movie. Lance is supposed to be the shy (but sweet) Kevin who never takes chances, Joey's character Rod is a fun-loving,crazy rocker, and Abbey played by Emanuelle is the nice, sweet girl that you are rooting for Kevin to find. Please, don't let reviews about the acting throw you off from seeing this movie! The acting is good! F.Y.I. Lance even received an award for best male discovery from a special group in Hollywood!
I had to write this review because I don't want anyone to miss out on this wonderful movie and the main point I want to express is see this movie for yourself. Maybe you won't love it like I do but you definitely owe it to yourself to find out. If you like romantic comedies that make you feel good and are appropriate for the whole family, try this movie. I don't think you will regret it one bit.

Summary: On The Line is the BEST MOVIE!!! Must Buy!
Review: I love On the Line! Lance Bass and Joey Fatone are really great actors. When I went and saw the movie I was worried that they weren't good actors and it wouldn't be good. Why did I worry? They were fabulous! This romantic comedy is a very sweet and beautiful. In the movie Kevin (Lance) is one of the cute yet shy guys who chokes when meeting girls. He finally meets the girl of his dreams Abbey (Emanuelle)on the train, but doesn't get her name or number. He can't stop thinking about her and decides to put up signs. Thousands respond and so his friends try to help without telling Kevin. This makes matters even worse. One of Kevin's enemies even comes into the act!
It is such a sweet movie. There aren't any bad things in it so the whole family can see it together. It makes every girl want there to be a "Kevin" or a Lance :) out there looking for you!!! I wish it had been in more theaters. By being in only 1,000 theaters, practically the whole world missed out on seeing a great movie. It is very cute and funny with good actors and good music so... if you didn't get the opportunity to see the movie here is your chance! If you did see it (like me)here's your chance to see it again! Buy On the Line! You are going to want to see it over and over!

Summary: On The Line Is One Of The Best Movies of 2001.
Review: On The Line is one of the best movies of 2001. What makes On The Line so great is the plot, the actors in the movie, and the soundtrack. On The Line is a romantic comedy, about a guy name Kevin, who falls in love with Abby, who he meets on the L Train. Kevin and Abby click right away, and have a great time on the short train ride. Kevin regrets not getting her name or number, so he puts up signs all over town asking if anyone has seen her. It's so sweet. All these girls pretend to by Abby and Kevin meet them only to be disappointed when he meets them, and sees it's not really her. At the end he finds her, and they fall in love. The actors are what also make the movie a hit. Lance Bass, and Joey Fatone of pop sensation Nsync, star in the movie. They are just as good actors as they are singings. Lance plays Kevin and Joey plays Kevin's friends. Also On The Line has the best soundtrack. The soundtrack features music from Nsync, Britney Spears, BBmak, Vitamin C, Mandy Moore and much more. The music makes it a great movie. On The Line comes out on VHS and DVD March 26th.

Summary: Even though it looks good, it isn't 14th april 2004.
Review: To be honest i never really watched it all, i watched half through it and i didn't find it enjoyable. How it sounds and looks is different than when you see it. I was a little dissapointed because i thought it would have been that bit better. It wastes too much time on where he wants to see her again. It may seem good to some people, but really it isn't that much of a comedy, it seems slow as you watch it. Ok to watch just the once, but i couldn't really get used to it. I have watched films like this before, and have realy enjoyed them and i was abit surprised over this. I SUPPOSE IT IS GOOD FOR SOME PEOPLE, BUT HOW IT LOOKS ISN'T HOW IT SEES.

Summary: This horrible, no matter what NSYNC teenyboppers say.
Review: I really can't believe this movie has an overall 4 star rating. NSYNC teenyboppers need to get over the fact that Lance is oh so cute (when in truth he looks like he has downsyndrome, and has absolutley no talent, on and off the big screen), and that Joey is so kewwwll. If this movie had anyone else in it, besides NSYNCers, it would have gotten 1 star.

This movie is horrible for so many reasons. First, the editing is bad. They originally made this movie with a PG-13 rating, but because most NSYNC fans are under 13, they had to go back and edit it so children can safely view it. And what a bad job they did. You can see their mouths saying curse words, yet you hear words like crap, freak, ect... This movie probably would have deserved 2 stars if it wasn't watered down so bad.
Second, Lance Bass cannot act. He has absolutley no personality in real life, and he was unable to turn into a human being for this film. I suggest he never makes another movie again. As for Joey Fatone, he has acting qualties, but since he didn't have a good script, he wasn't able to show it.

All in all, this is a teenyboppers wet dream movie. Then again, 10 year olds don't care about quality.

Summary: Similar to old movie....
Review: When I first heard what "On the Line" was about, I was first reminded of an old classic movie featuring Gene Kelly, Frank Sinatra, and Jules Munshin called "On the Town". It is about three sailors who get one night of leave on the town in NYC. Gene Kelly's character meets a girl on the train, and the rest of the movie is spent searching for her.
Sounds pretty similar, eh? Well, "On the Line" isn't too bad... it's corny, but that's what we all can expect from it. I'm not even sure if i'd call this a slumber party movie, but oh well whatever floats your boat. I'm an N Sync fan myself, and I do like Lance Bass.... but I couldn't find myself to like this movie. You should all check out "On the Town" instead...the music in that is more entertaining ;)

Summary: great movie
Review: even my parents loved the movie. usually they ask who comes out in it and when i said nsync they thought it was going to be a stupid movie but it was pretty good. i cant stop renting it at blockbuster or watching it on encore.

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: A real time waster
Review: My parents met eachother 33 years ago on the "EL" which is the only reason I could even stand this movie which is just so syrupy and predictable.(Was there any doubt that Kevin would get the girl?) And where did he get the money for those ads when it seemed like his job involved little else but fixing the copy machine? There were two bright spots: the hilarious Jerry Stiller and the "behind the scenes" with a cameo by Justin Timberlake & Chris Kirkpatrick.

one more thing: it's the "EL", not "L train."
