Summary: Don't Panic Men, It's No "Chick Flick"!
Review: Attention all husbands, Boyfriends or testosterone driven "significant others"; don't fight her, Just see it. Not since "When Harry Met Sally" has there been this old fashioned balance of wet hankies and belly laughs. Great writing, cast, and direction! Four Stars!

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: Go see this movie! It is a sweet, old-fashioned love story that everyone will enjoy. It was a refreshing change of pace - a movie that you can take your mother to and not be embarressed by what's on screen.

The ensemble cast was great, the story well written, I laughed till I cried! I was especially impressed with David Duchovny's performance, breaking out of his X-Files persona!

Two thumbs up!

Summary: This Movie Stays With You!
Review: I highly enjoyed Return to Me, a sweet movie that is also laugh-out-loud funny.

What's so unique about this film is the characters. Over the course of two hours I began to feel like I knew them all -- Bob & Grace, Megan and her ever-growing family, the grandpas. The ensemble plays together very well, and the leads have chemistry. David Duchovny (being so *not* Fox Mulder) adds a warmth to Bob that's perfect and endearing, and Minnie Driver's Grace is such an innocent and kind soul.

Take someone you love to see this movie.

Summary: Return to Me
Review: My initial impression of the film was surprise that the filmaker gave away the plot in the first five minutes of the movie. The crash sequence was unnecessary as it gave away the entire film. I really enjoyed watching the movie as Minnie Driver carried the performances. It is definitely worht watching provided you don't want any surprises.

Summary: What A Pleasant Surprise
Review: I wasn't expecting Return To Me to be bad, but I originally thought the premise sounded a little sappy and the cast sounded a bit odd. I wasn't sure about how the on-screen chemistry btw DD & Minnie Driver would work, and what plot could have David Allen Grier, James Belushi and Carrol O'Conner in the same movie? So, I didn't go in expecting too much.

I was really happy with the movie, though. It tugs at the heartstrings and it also makes you laugh a lot. The entire crowd at the screening I attended seemed to enjoy the movie.

I highly recommend it as a great date movie. As DD has said in interviews, RTM is wonderful because it's an old-fashioned love story. The soundtrack is wonderful too -- lots of big band music which adds to the old-fashioned feel.

It was also really nice to see David Duchovny in a much more light-hearted role. He had some great comedic moments and some great romantic moments.

Carrol O'Conner, Robert Loggia and co. almost steal the movie with their hilarious banter. I can't wait to see Return To Me on the big screen when it opens, and I will definitely be adding it to my video collection.

Summary: Return to Me
Review: Return to Me was a true romantic comedy. I was either laughing or crying the entire movie. Minnie Driver and David Duckovny displayed a wonderful chemistry but the film made it because of the four grandpas' antics. Even though the film was a bit predictable, that fact is overshadowed by the warm, fuzzy feeling you get. If I had to sum up this movie in one sentence, I would say this film is Grumpy Old Men meets Circle of Friends. I can't wait for it to be released in theatres so I can see it again!

Summary: Far Better Than I Expected
Review: I really thought this movie would be a dud, but it was sweet, funny, and touching. Carol O'Connor and his older friends really made the movie. Way to go Bonnie Hunt!

Summary: Touching
Review: Incredibly touching and funny at times. It is well worth a visit to the theater. Minnie Driver and David Duchovny truly lives as Bob and Grace.

Summary: Worthwhile flick
Review: Cute, heartwarming, fun, entertaining. Okay, a little predictable, but aren't all love stories? I'd reccommend it to a friend.

Summary: A Magical Romantic Comedy
Review: Return to Me is an exceptional romantic comedy, starring David Duchovny and Minnie Driver. It has that magical ingredient that Sleeping in Seattle and Practical Magic have, where the couple seem destined to be together and something much larger than either of them is in control. David Duchovny is outstanding as the architect, demonstrating a wide range of emotions as in the grief-stricken husband, along with the cute 'haven't dated in a long time' innocence, his wonderful comedic timing with the blind date fiasco, and the imparting of incredible sex appeal for the PG rating. Minnie Driver is excellent as Grace, the woman fated to be connected to him as the story unfolds. Her transformation from the ashen and weakened young woman to the vibrant sweet young lady, who loves to ride her bike and paint in her exceptional garden, is remarkable. Her grandfather, played by Carroll O'Connor, is an endearing character along with the other characters that color Grace's 'family'. The film is cute, sweet, heartbreaking, and hilariously funny. The comedic moments contrast perfectly, breaking up the tragically sad and heartbreaking elements of the film. A great flick to see with someone special or just to feel good! I would watch it again in a heartbeat!
