Summary: A movie for everyone
Review: It's not very often that I attend a movie that everyone in my family loves, but this one actually was. My grandmother, mother, and my younger sister all loved the movie just as much as I did and we have been back to the theater to see it for a second and third time. It's not trying to win an Oscar; it's only trying to provide its audience with an enjoyment that will keep a smile on their face even after they leave the theater. The only thing left to say is this: "Return To Me" succeeds with flying colors.

Summary: Great movie! (surprised me)
Review: When I first read what it was about, I thought it would be another one of those movies that I find boring but my mother crys to. Wow, was I in for a surprise or what! What a great blend of comedy and a bit of romance. I'm glad that I decided to go check it out. In fact, I've been wanting to go back and see it. Definitely one for our DVD collection when it's released.

Summary: Return to Me
Review: This poignant movie elicits both laughter and tears. I grieved with David Duchovny as the widower who can't seem to let his wife go, and Minnie Driver is adorable as the somewhat quirky young woman who loves painting and flowers, and who fears that love will never come her way. Their budding romance is tender without being mushy. Her family and friends provide plenty of laughs as they each try to determine the future of her love life. When they both learn that her new heart is that of his wife, their love is tested to the limit. What happens then -- well, you'll just have to watch the movie! I can't wait for this one to come out on video so I can add it to my collection!

Summary: the perfect romance
Review: For those of us who found American Beauty to be a disgusting look at disgusting people, this is the perfect antecdote. A story about truly ordinary people (multi-generational) who rely on freinds, families, values, and yes even religion, to help solve life's problems. Hunt delivers the same caliber of writing and directing that we expect from her as a character actress. This is a "character" of a movie, too. A must see.

Summary: great romantic rollercoaster
Review: I saw return to me three times in the past two weeks. It touches your heart every time. The movie starts out romantically in a gala setting, then switches to a sad hospital scene, the back to a terribly sad scene( a real tear jerker) and then to a happy scene. It takes you on an emotional roller-coaster ride. The leading actors, Mimi and David, complement each other well. It is great to see David Duchovny in a comedy role. Unitl this point, I can say I haven't seen David Duchovny in a movie, or at least a memorable part other than in the X-files. He impressed me and I will be looking for other fine works that he will be appearing in. Mimi driver delivers another excellent performance. David and Mimi show the chemistry needed to pull of a romantic comedy, but still able to get a sense of realness from each character. The supporting cast is excellent. I laughed throughout the movie and found Carroll O'Connor a treat. The writing was excellent, the soundtrack excellent, the actors and supporting staff excellent. What else can I say. Go see the movie.

Summary: Charming; A Wonderful Love Story.
Review: There are so many wonderful things about Return to Me. One: it's so completely charming; two: it's funny; three: David Duchovny and Minnie Driver have so much chemistry....

In this movie, Bob (David Duchovny, playing the complete opposite of Fox Mulder) has to deal with his wife's death, while Grace has to deal with getting a new heart. It's a year before they meet eachother, having a compelling atraction to eachother from the start....

I could go into so much detail of this movie, but I'd end up giving it away. My only advice is to watch it. I'm sure you'll love it too.

Summary: The Kind Of Film You Want To Return To!
Review: I love movies...but for some reason I never really get too involved with the characters(I don't know if that's good or bad). I mean there are certain movies I love to watch over and over again(The Bicycle Thief)but I just don't get sentimental over them. But with this movie it was a different story. I was captivated! Each chartacter in this film was easy to like and extremely well written. This movie in short had a lot of heart. You should definatley goes see this movie with a loved one. Very enjoyable!

Summary: One word review:
Review: Marvelous. I can't say enough good things about this film except that I wish someone (preferably with Bonnie Hunt's excellent taste and ability) would make more like it. I've seen "Return to Me" three times and can't wait to see it again. It's about as flawless a film as Hollywood can make.

Summary: A Great Old Fashioned Romance
Review: David Duchovny plays Bob Rueland who is a prominant architect and his wife who works for the zoo. When his wife dies in a car crash that is when Grace played by the always good Minnie Driver. She needs a heart transplant and get this she gets Bob's wifes heart. Then before the two meet he meets his friend played by David Alan Grier at the resteruant that grace's uncles own. When he leaves he leaves his cell phone behind and when she calls to tell him he goes over there in hopes to talk to her.

Bonnie Hunt in the role she does best as the best friend. Her style of humor is sarcastic but sincere. She is always a pleasure in it. Bonnie Hunt does triple duty in this movie she directs, acts and wrote the movie with the help of fellow writer Don lake. I know you gonna say that we have seen this movie before and that we know what his going to happen. But David Duchovny drops his X-files persona and Minnie Driver who is always cute and brings something to this role. They make a surprisingly low key couple they are very attractive and always look fresh. With a great supporting cast including Carol O' Conner and Robert Logia play grace's relatives always very funny and with alot of screen time. Never to cutesy. James Belushi who plays Hunt's husband and with there brood of children is in top form here. This is a Great Old fashioned romantic comedy.

Summary: Fine American Entertainment
Review: Hollywood has come up with some real loo-loos as far as silly premises go, and I thought this film (about a man dating a girl who has his dead wife's heart) would take the cake. Yet, something attracted me to this film the moment I saw the trailer in the theater a month or so ago. Being an admirer of Duchovny, Driver, and Hunt, I decided that it couldn't do much harm to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this film is loaded with charm, laughs, and fine performances.Quite simply, it's a satisfying piece of entertainment, void of the intense, heavy-handed angles found in so many of the films I've seen lately (Boys Don't Cry, American Beaty et al) but chock full of smiles and engaging characters. Bonnie Hunt is marvelous, as usual, and her direction of the film is swift, smart, and sassy. Duchovny scores with a likeable, understated performance, as does the always-watchable Minnie Driver. Carrol O'Connor was a joy to see on the screen, and James Belushi may have resurrected his career with some scene-stealing moves. I saw this movie on a blah sort of Saturday, determined not to subject myself to anything intense and preachy, but just as determined to see something that was well-crafted and quality entertainment. I struck gold. This movie is the celluloid equivalent of a simple but delicious meal of steak and mashed potatoes at the end of a hard day. Absolutely comforting. Absolutely satisfying. Worth a rent. Worth a buy.
