Review: There is no limit to the things I can say about this movie! It was absolutly wonderful! Michael Douglas leads the terrific cast. He is so down to earth and realistic! Annette Bening is perfect in her role. Martin Sheen deserves a best supporting actor award. Michael J. Fox is HILARIOUS, and David Paymer is wonderful too! "Do you think there's a florist in there planning an assassination on the off-chance I might be stopping by?"---"It's possible..." Keeps you laughing forever! If you're in the mood for a truly wonderful movie, The American President is a must see!

Review: I think that this movie is one of the all time bests. All the actors did great. Robin, Lewis, AJ, The president and of coars Sydney Ellen Wayde. All the problems that came up where handled well in this movie. The comedy will make you laugh so hard you'll fall of your chair. Watch this movie.

Review: This movie is great! The dialogue is just incredible. Michael J. Fox is hilarious! Annette is gorgeous, Douglas is somewhat believable, and Martin Sheen is pretty darn good too. My favorite parts are Fox and Douglas' debate on whose business the president's life is, and when Douglas does his monolougue at the end! Great writing, in my opinion, and that is what makes this movie so fun to watch! Over and over and over...

The laughter keeps coming in a screenplay by Aaron Sorkin ("A Few Good Men"), and evaluates the main carachters' morals in a liberal fashion. "The American President" leaves the audience with a feel-good, patriotic smile across its face.

Review: My all time favorite film, I know the script by heart. The concept of the President having to ask how to get an outside line to call a woman up for a first date... to a State Dinner , no less is a gas. How about sending a Virginia Ham to the girl the next day because he couldn't call in an order for flowers. Don't miss Michael J. Fox, classic role for him. Most enjoyable film, you have to see it more that once to really appreciate.

Review: This is really an excellent film. It has some funny moments and is a very well written story, albeit very idealistic. The supporting cast is excellent, notably Michael J Fox, Martin Sheen and David Paymer. Michael Douglas and Annette Bening fit well as a couple and Rob Reiner did an excellent directing job. I thought the opening credits were good too (excellent music, panorama of real former Presidents)

Review: A one of a kind movie. Michael Douglas and Michael J. Fox are a perfect match. The movie was set up in a pretty good way. This movie was probably more aimed more towards teens-+. The movie was about how a widowed president has to deal with the American Public when he starts dating again! An outstanding masterpiece of cinema! I give this movie 5 out of 5 STARS!!
