Summary: Never has such a great story mixed with such great acting.
Review: Gwyneth Paltrow gives the female proformance of the century in this movie. Dame Judi Dench, Joseph Fiennes, Geoffrey Rush, and Ben Affleck also all turned in oscar caliber proformances. Although there have been many remakes of Shakespeare's play, never has such an interesting movie been made about how Shakespeare thought of one of this most known plays. Go rent it.

Summary: Man, was this ever a FIVE STAR MOVIE!
Review: When I watched this movie, a feeling of warm pleasure swept over me. I felt tingley all over. There is only 1 other movie that has ever done that to me, and that was Strictly Ballroom, but that is another story.

The superb acting by everyone, especially by the lead actors Gwyneth Paltrow and Joseph Finnes. I like the fact that the "ehem" scenes weren't that explicit. This is now my favorite movie, and I've seen a few in my time!

Summary: Great acting and great writing head a great movie
Review: "Shakespeare in Love" is about William Shakespeare (Joseph Fiennes) who is stuck writing"Romeo and Ethel the Pirate's Daughter" until he meets a young woman named Viola(Oscar winner Gwyneth Paltrow). This movie should have won all the Oscars exept for Picture(should have been Private Ryan), and Art Direction(should have gone to Pleasantville) But the acting, writing and story put this movie on my Top 10.

Summary: Best film of the year! I loved it!
Review: This movie was great! I love that it won the Acadamy Award because it wasn't one of those big budget blockbusters or dramas that usually win. This is one of the best romantic comedies I've ever seen. It personified a wonderful side of Shakespeare's work never before seen. If you havn't already seen it, watch this movie!

Summary: For those of you who think it's all about sex . . .
Review: Obviously those viewers who believe this movie is simply a "boink-fest" (and believe that Romeo and Juliet itself was simply about "lust") have never fallen deeply, madly, insanely, passionately in love. I hope it happens for you someday. Then maybe you'll "get" this film.

Summary: The most brilliant movie of the Decade
Review: Shakespear in Love, an instant hit the day it was released. A brilliant piece preformed with the utmost quality. Gwenith Paltrow who plays a Viola De Lessips preforms one of the greatest peices even better than her previous (Sliding Doors). Joseph Fiennes playing the young and naive Shakespeare also performs admirably. A brilliant performance, "a true original" and an instant legend.

Summary: A Wonderful film
Review: Impressive acting by Paltrow and "the guy who played Shakespeare" unfortunatly I do not know his name. I just watched this movie over the weekend and I must say I loved it! I can clearly see why it got the awards it recieved. The set and costumes were magnificent, had a wonderful plot and I love the ending "Romeo and Juliet" scene. I got a real feel of the shakespearean theater during this film. GREAT GREAT GREAT. This film made me smile. :)
