Review: Well, I know I will not say anything new, but it is the best film I have ever seen. It captures magical moments without the fireworks of special FX. Really beautiful. If you see it you will be given a smile on your face. A very big "ear to ear" smile. Buy it, it's fabulous!

Review: I absolutley love this movie. I went to see it and the characters were so real, and not hollywood, the music was extroadinary, and the effects were magnificent. Although it was a little bit provacative everythink else still made up for it. Audrey Tauton is amazing in this film. She plays a girl, who in her child hood couldn't go to school and socialize. She has a beautiful face. This movie is a must see it you want to take a vacation from all the hectic things around the world. Also is you liked this movie go and see Bread and Tulips. So to wrap it up Amelie is just a great movie, but don't take a younger audiece. =-)

Review: Last summer I went to europe and there was a film called "Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amélie Poulain" you could see it everywhere so i decided to go watch it, I couldn't believe it!!! That was the greatest french film I've ever seen, I bought the OST too because is simply magical!!! and when you have such a tender story with such a magnficent music you'll find one of the best movies ever!!! , FUNNY , INTELLIGENT , ROMANTIC, NON HOLYWOOD FILM and much more is how i qualify AMELIE,now i have it in my house, in Mexico, even if it has not arrived to theaters!!!! I've seen this film around 20 times and I'm still finding it smart, I'm still looking at new thigs about amélie and the reasons for her attitudes, It's amazing how Jean Paul Jeunet was able to reflect the life of such vivant character woderfully played by Audrey Tautou and her expresive Face. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET TO HAVE THIS FILM IN YOUR DVD COLECTION because it's a sure thing that this film will become a classic!!!!

Review: We are now entering a great age of movie making. Computer-generated special effects have become so accessible that even European Cinema can afford them. Since the good people in Hollywood can't write a decent script to save their lives, and can not imagine a use for CGI other than blowing things up, we must now look elsewhere for our films. Amelie is just a fun movie - a sweet romantic comedy from beginning to end. In this film, the special effects act as surreal compliments to the story - more Jean Cocteau than Jerry Bruckheimer. In the scene where Amelie gets her heart broken, she simply melts into water. The story, such as it is, basically concerns her fear of meeting the man she has a crush on from afar...or maybe it's about the things a woman does to amuse herself if she's never had a fulfilling sexual encounter? (How many couples ARE having sex right now? Only 15?) It's not really about the plot - it's simply a fun, good-hearted adventure with a lot of quirky people.

Review: This is a film that is cute and witty and fun. So often the movies we see leave us cold and sad but this one gives you a sense of uplifting and warmth. Audrey Tautou is adorable -- and not one of those girls that look like a pre-pubescent boy with a girl's head. She is funny and clever in her tricks she plays on others. This movie made me appreciate my husband and son, especially necessary after 9-11. I rarely laugh out loud at a movie but this one had me rolling. Good movie for a young mom or for a date. Romantic and funny and clever. A must-see!! *****

Review: When I decided to see this movie, I was at a personal low. I almost didn't see it for that reason, but went anyway. It was the best thing I could have done for myself because I walked out of the theater with a big smile. This is the most beautiful film I have seen in the year 2001. It deserves to win best picture and should definitely get atleast a nomination. It was witty, original, funny, and romantic. The Storyline was good even if it was simple and the acting superb. It is a must-see movie and definitely one of those movies you just can't miss. It gets a perfect rating from me!
