Summary: Very clever...but a keeper?
Review: There are no doubt some people out there who hated this movie, but I've yet to meet any. Even for non-horror buffs such as myself, this is a very good night's entertainment (or Night's entertainment as the case may be). The plot twist is undeniably clever. The acting (and not just Haley Joel Osment) is solid throughout. Well shot, extremely well edited, who could argue?OK, so occasionally you meet some know-it-all who swears they figured it all out from the beginning (or from the TRAILERS!) but even they have to admit that the film is well constructed and very, very clever. The VHS version comes with interview clips with Shymalian and various producers, very interesting if not illuminating. I imagine the DVD has even more in the way of such tidbits. Ultimately though, the question you have to ask yourself is whether or not you need to own this film. For now, I've seen the film twice--once for the experience and once to analyze it--and I'm sated. Can't say that it's a keeper for me. I have no desire to add this film to my collection. There'll likely come a day when I'll feel like renting it again, and it's good to know that I can see dead people again if the, ahem, spirit moves me.

Summary: THIS MOVIE ROCKS!
Review: I am 12,13 next month,and I love this movie! Me and my dad rented it,loved it,then bought it the next night and my mom saw it too! It scared her I think but the movie isn't really scary,just freaky,the way the music is and how the temp drops and everything. I've seen it 5 times and am still watching it. This is one of my favorites along with The Matrix and Gladiator. Haley Joel Osment was awesome! Not too gory,not too scary either. DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU THE ENDING!

Summary: Very good movie!
Review: I 've seen this movie twice. I thought that I wouldn't like it on the second veiwing because the shocking ending was known to me. But the fun of this movie is watching for the clues. Thats all I'll say because I don't want to ruin the ending! I liked it because it confronts ghosts and the undead in an un-cheesey way. While I don't think its terribly frightening, there are a few chilling moments. Overall, buy it today and watch it tomorrow! You will not regret it!

Review: This was the best spooky movie I have seen in a long, long time. I thoroughly enjoyed that it was not a scary movie packed with gruesome blood, guts, etc. This movie really made you think!

Summary: Incredible and surprising
Review: Well what can I say. This movie was just amazing. The story line was very original. This is not a horror movie but it gave very good insight into how a young child is handling a gift he does not want. The young boy was truly amazing in his acting, no wonder he was nominated for an Oscar. It was very wierd watching Bruce Willis as an ordinary man instead of the action,gun packing person he usually acts. I think he did a top notch job of interpreting the Psychiatrist.Bravo Bruce keep it up. The end of the movie was a shocker, it left you wondering why you didn't see it all coming. This movie about a young boy who sees ghosts just after their death,and the psychiatrist who realizes there is more on this earth than we can see is truly a delight. Very original. Loved it.

Summary: I Actually Made It Through It!
Review: I don't do well seeing frightening movies in the theater but I did just fine with this one. This was a big first for me! The intelligent script, novel idea, and terrific acting by the boy, Osment, and Willis made this film a sure-fire hit. I normally do not like Bruce Willis in anything, finding him super obnoxious. However, he really shows his acting stuff here and I'll give the devil his due! There are some inconsistencies in the story that my husband, friends and I picked apart later in a coffee shop but, as a whole, it had such a great impact that I can't take off for those. A boy who sees and talks to dead people and comes to shrink Bruce Willis for help... Who would have thought it would work on the screen!

Summary: This movie is the BEST!
Review: I'm not a real scarey movie fan, but I thought THE SIXTH SENSE was a real thriller. This movie coud have been a lot scarier, and that's why I like it. The ghosts weren't too nasty, and that's good. The acting in this movie was amazing, I thought Bruce Willis, not being my all time favorite actor, was brilliant.My little brother got a little freaked, but that's OK, You'll love it. I recomened you BUY this one.

Summary: Poltergeist for grown ups
Review: I must confess, up front, that I am not a Bruce Willis fan. Having said that, his performance in this film was sensitive and evocative. He also chose to work with a great script, a wonderful cast and was given competent direction. The master review sums up the film's appeal rather nicely, so I will not repeat what has already been said. Just some impressions, this is not a film that you will view and easily forget. It raises a number of interesting thought bytes with regard to the "next realm", if one exists. I found the film to be wonderful viewing, with a relatively gentle touch being applied to all aspects of the story.

Summary: Technical masterpiece
Review: I'm not going to reveal the twist that makes this film so special. It is wonderful and makes this film a true masterpiece. To pull this off was a nightmare of timing, camera angles and great acting I'm sure. Bruce Willis has a marvelous chameleon quality that makes him believeable in this role. I'm an admirer of his in his over the top action roles as well. It is a credit to his talent that he can do both. The young boy does a wonderful job as the child that sees "Dead people". The roles are developed well and keep you in a net till the end. Anyone who likes a bit of suspense, and a good story line should see this one.
