Review: This movie is downright silly. I found myself laughing at every imaginable inappropriate moment. Some of the acting is good but David's wife who plays the lead is awful. It is no wonder why she does not have much of a career. The plot is absoloutely ridiculous. I saw the ending coming a mile away and it wasn't even that interesting. A MUST NOT SEE!!!!!!!!!

Review: You need to suspend disbelief a few times and assume that Scotts character will react in a certain way, such as taking the FBI agents card from the photo album and calling her,but it keeps you guessing until the end.

Summary: Steve Martin's excellent
Review: it's amazing how some people once they're allowed to make a critic of a movie completely loose it and start to take themselves very seriously. This is not a bad movie at all, it's even more than a very good one. Won't make you feel like throwing you vcr away, it will make you feel like buying a dvd instead. It's good also to see Steve Martin out of his usual funny parts, this suits him perfectly.

Summary: Ultimately, it was pretty enjoyable
Review: If you allow yourself to be amused, you will be. It seems the entire cast is winking at you, as if to say, "I know what's happening is pretty infuriatingly stupid, but so what?" After a while you learn to enjoy the game. Scott's character is so stupid you just want to kick in the TV, but his naivete is what keeps this movie going. A great group watch, so all of your friends can scream at the characters in tandem.

Review: This is one of the best movies made this decade. It keeps you guessing until the end. The writing is so clever and sharp. David Mamet proves once again that he is the best screen writer in America. The acting is superb. I was really surprised how terrific Steve Martin was. I wish Hollywood would send some good scripts his way. This guy can act. This is one movie I will remember for a long time. A Brillint film.

Summary: A thinkers thriller
Review: Saw this for the first time last night and am still thinking about it. How come Joe didn't catch on to Susan's photgraphs? Was the Japanese "Tourist" following Joe all along? When will we see another movie as engrossing as this? (Okay, the first 45 mins are a little show, but then it's off like a bullet.) Gotta run...want to see "House of Games" again!

Summary: An intelligent and surprising film
Review: With all of the brainless movies that are out there, The Spanish Prisoner is something refreshingly different. It plays to the audience like they are thinking people, not ignorant dolts. Canpbell Scott is great as the helpless but intelligent victim and Rebecca Pidgeon's annoying character serves as a bizarre comic relief. The biggest surprise, however, is Steve Martin. By gum, the man can act! I hope he does other serious roles in the future. Put them together and you get a film that comes off as a labyrinth of plots, schemes and surprises right up to the end. You won't be disappointed the first time you watch it and the following times you'll still see something new.

Review: This movie has got to be the stupidest movie I have ever seen in my life. It had no point to it. The lead acter(not Steve Martin) was so stupid in this movie he didn't even think. It will make you want to sell your VCR after watching this!!!
