Summary: Great Performances, Good Movie
Review: I liked this movie. I've seen it twice now. On first viewing, the twists and turns of the plot were all well done and kept me glued to the movie. On second viewing, I found myself paying more attention to the acting. Edward Norton, as always, is really excellent. He has real talent, on the order of contemporaries John Malkovich or Kevin Spacey. Richard Gere does a good job, but it always seems like Richard Gere is just playing Richard Gere. It works here, though. The directing and cinematography here is also very good. Some really interesting and beautiful shots. The city of Chicago is captured very well. My only complaint was that the movie ran a little bit long, which is why I give it four stars instead of five. Highly recommended, though. An overlooked movie.

Review: I've recommended this film to a number of people and they have all loved it. A "Who done it?" starring Richard Gere and Edward Norton that has more twists and turns,plots and subplots than any movie I've seen in a while. If you are an Edward Norton fan,this,I believe is his best work. The movie will keep you guessing.

Review: Very well done film with an engrossing murder trial. The film makes a few important statements. First it gives a somewhat realistic view of what goes on in criminal court. It realistically portrays a lawyer who doesn't know and doesn't care if his clients are guilty. Also it shows in a very well done way whether there is such a thing as multiple personality disorder and thereby shows how valuable the whole profession of psychology is.

Review: This movie is excellent. Norton became one of my favorite actors in this movie, which is actually similar to his role in Fight Club (another excellent movie). If you think you have this one figured out, you'll be in for a surprise....MUST SEE!

Review: back during The OJ trial everybody for awhile had a Lawyer&Client type of movie out during that time period.and like the rest of them it was full of Cliches.and Richard Gere's Role is no different.only Edward Norton's role is worth seeing the film.the rest is very Predictable.

Review: This was a very good movie.It keeps you on the edge of your seat. Edward Norton was excellent as the innocent murder suspect and Richard Gere (with his fine self)was excellent as the lawyer trying to keep this young innocent man out of prison.A very,very good movie.A definite must see.

Review: this movie is fantastic it goes through many aspects of our corrupted world.Believe me in this movie clearly shows us nothing is how it seems, you'll see this by ed norton's fantastic caracter as the accused killer of the area's most respected priests he shows you his fantastic ability through out the entire movie but it just hit you at the end . Not to metion Richard Gere's fantastic performance as the hot shot lawer who defends the accused. Bottom line you got to see this movie

Review: The only reason I didn't give this movie 5 stars, is because they had too many scenes with Richard Gere (who stunk in this movie) and not enough scenes with Edward Norton in them. Norton was the only thing keeping this movie watchable.. He gave such a good performance that I have seen it like 5 times, and still haven't gotten tired of it. The plot is good and so is the script (except for Gere's scenes) but just to watch Norton do his thing is enough for me to buy and watch this movie over and over again! He is definatly one of the best actors I have ever seen. Every movie with him rocks. and so does this one!

Review: i've seen this movie three times and I still love it! The drama really gets to me. And the ending is so powerful. Laura Linney and Richard gere bounce perfectly off of each other. Edward Norton gives such a great performance. Definetly see this movie
