Summary: Trashy "noirish" comedy
Review: The scenery & acting star in this trashy, campy, comedic film noir tribute

Summary: WOW!!!
Review: Absolutely fantastic movie. Nev Campbell is amazing, Denise Richards is even more amazing. The story is twisted and keeps you guessing what is going on till the very end when everything comes together. The additional footage of the DVD is good and it comes with both the Wide Screen Version and the Cropped version. Worth buying END

Summary: Keeps you guessing
Review: ...that's for sure! This movie really does keep you guessing until the very end. Just when you think you have it all figured out, you don't and are very far from the truth. It has so many twists in the plot that you really do have to pay close attention to it the first time you watch it or you will miss something vital to understanding the ending. I liked it mainly because I thought I had it figured out but when the end came I was totally wrong. I enjoy movies that are unpredictable, which this one most definitely is. The movie is cast well. It includes Matt Dillon, Neve Campbell, Kevin Bacon, Denise Richards, and even Bill Murrey. I think as far as casting goes the actors were prefct for the parts. Matt and Kevin play somewhat bad guys, which don't they usually. Neve Campbell plays a strange girl from the wrong side of the tracks and just nails the part. I like this movie and would recommend it to those that like a good ending and maybe some of you that want to see Neve Campbell making out with Denise Richards. Not my favorite part, but I know many guys would enjoy that scene.

Summary: Underrated Film
Review: I feel "Wild Things" is such an underrated film. I have new respect for its Executive Producer, Kevin Bacon, who does a great job in his role. There is no reason to discuss the plot....just watch it from beginning to end and don't miss a single detail. Its writing is strong, and its script is full of surprises every step along the way. Bill Murray steals the show as a two-bit hustling lawyer who hits the big time, and even a good, matter-of-fact performance by Robert Wagner (who we rarely see these days)

To all the movies' performers: You made a good choice in taking the roles.

"Wild Things" is a truly unique movie that will keep you entertained, regardless of how many times you see it. The DVD has excellent sound and picture quality. The recurring main theme song instrumental is hauntingly appropriate. A good deviation from the "formula" movies popular in the past decade or so.

Summary: Sexual Progress
Review: Wild Things is a movie that made with the beautiful art of mischief, crime, and sexuality. Starring one of the most beautiful actresses I have ever seen in films, Denise Richards, this movie makes it tiwce as hot and twice as confusing. From the cover, I thought it was going to be about to pstcho girls. I was right. Wild Things is an interesting title, and really fits in with the movie's style and progress. This movie is a great one, but it lacks a sense of realism. The way they took it all to court was very unrealistic to me, I'd say.

Summary: The stuff of guys dreams
Review: To say that this is a movie that guys will dreaming about for weeks afterwards is an understatement. C'mon, you have Denise Richards & Neve Campbell acting all sexy & stuff, and getting into catfights in a swimming pool of all places. (Guys, sorry to ruin your dreams, but why would we get into a fight in a swimming pool, other than to make our clothes go see-through?) I'm still not sure why exactly I bought this, cos I'm very much female (I was the last time I checked anyway), except it was dead cheap, and it's one of those covers which is instantly recognisable.

It wasn't what I was expecting. The whole story was told very quickly, before going into all sorts of twists & turns and tying itself in knots at the end. Really, in the end, the director went too far in his 'cleverness' by doing so many twists & turns, because I was expecting things that weren't happening.

I was expecting the topless scenes from Denise Richards, although hopefully she's now a mom, and with another bub on the way, then she won't be doing too many of these - I can see her now, just one big stretchmark. OK wishful thinking. I'm not too keen on her for some reason. She appeared in Friends at one point, and did a few really silly scenes, and I just remember her for those. Neve Campbell was good, although unfortunately for all you guys out there, she doesn't go topless, I don't think she ever has in any of her movies, she must have a clause written into her contract. You get to see her back & that's about it.

I could almost forgive Kevin Bacon for Hollow Man (I'm never going to forget that movie) after seeing his shower scene :) Almost! Director John McNaughton says he deleted a scene that would have shown Matt Dillon and Kevin showering together, as it was gratuitous (and all the girls out there who have seen this groan in disbelief). Unbelievingly, in an interview with Maxim magazine Kevin noted that he has a no nudity clause in his contract, and that he was a producer of the movie, so technically he could have sued himself.

In my opinion, Bill Murray was seriously underused in this movie. OK, so he grates a bit after a while, but he added a bit of comic relief to the movie.

I loved the scenes interspersed through the credits, which filled out the story a bit and showed you what really happened. Including one scene where you'll NEVER want to go to the dentist ever again.

This is a good movie, well-worth checking out at least once, and for guys, probably to have in your collection after your girlfriends dump you - cos lets face it, not getting any is a crime in itself.

Summary: All these stars and they are clueless.
Review: Throw in Denise Richards, Matt Dillon, Kevin Bacon, and Bill Murray, and what do you have. A so-called sexy movie with no script, a bunch of over-paid actors, and a film that makes Daytime soap TV look like fine art.

Summary: Promising Begining, But Falls Apart at the End
Review: Wild Things is the story of a high school guidance counselor (Matt Dillion) and the two high school girls that accuse him of rape; one is a rich, spoiled girl (Denise Richards) and the other is a troubled young woman who has spent time in a mental institution (Nerve Campbell). Dillion hires a sleazy lawyer (Bill Murray) to trial his case and soon holes appear in the girls' accusations. But is there more to the story? A cuthroat police officer (Kevin Bacon) seems to think so and begins an investigation that uncovers a story full of surprises.

As I said, the movie starts out optimistically with lies deception and surprises. Unfortunately, there are too many surprises and two-faced characters than can possibly be contained in the movie. After the first 45 minutes to hour of the movie, I wanted it to end because it had already used up all of its good material. But it didn't end; the surprises kept coming but seemed more out of place and the twists later in the movie did not fit well in with the plot. The movie tries to cover up for this missing story during its ending credits, but this is a bad place to put such needed information because most viewers would simply just turn off the movie after it was done. Basically, the film went too far with the suspense and plot twists and unfortunately ruined itself at the end.

I have a few more comments about Wild Things. If you watched this movie to see steamy scenes of Nerve Campbell and Denise Richards, there is one nude scene and a few kissing scenes but that is about it. Unfortunately, there is also a frontal nude scene of Kevin Bacon there serves no purpose in the movie and lets face it, nobody really wants to see that.

In conclusion, the first half of Wild Things is suspensful and intriguing, but the later half drags on and, in my opinion, poisons the plot. It is a decent movie, but could be better if more creative planning had gone into writing the story.

Summary: Total whodone it, reminds me of Palmetto
Review: If you saw Woody Harrelsons best movie Palmetto, you might want to check Wild Things out bcz it has similar suspense type of scenes. I dont necessarily like Denise Richards or Neve Campbell but they did a fairly good job in this movie. Matt Dillon was awesome and so was Kevin Bacon (he rocked!!!!) And I liked Bill Murray's small but most important role. The ending is reminiscent of "The Suicide Kings" w/ Christopher Walken, bcz you don't have a clue as to "who did what?" Trust me, you won't be disappointed one bit!!!!!! 4 STARS TOTALLY!!!!!

Summary: Pretty wild
Review: First the good news: Denise Richards and Neve Campbell are in the unrated version, just as they appeared in the theatrical release. Now the bad news: I could not tell any difference in between the two. Perhaps they added 5 seconds of footage someplace, but I didn't catch it. I was kind of hoping the 3-way scene would be stretched out (for another 1/2 hour, perhaps?) but it was not to be. Oh, well.

Now for the film itself. It's one of the most far-fetched movies I have ever seen. It almost seemed like the writer tried to come up with as many twists & turns as he / she possibly could, THEN figure out a plot to wrap around some ideas.

That said, it is an entertaining tale, and that's what we go to see movies for in the 1st place. There is some nice scenery of tropical beaches and the everglades, and the cast is top notch. Featuring Kevin Bacon, Richards & Campbell, Bill Murray and Matt Dillon, one can't say too many bad things about the acting.

One word of caution: this is perhaps not the best date movie. It contains many aspects of typical male fantasies such as the aforementioned 3-way as well as Richards & Campbell getting "friendly" with each other. Just something to keep in mind; not all women will appreciate this flick!

Otherwise, I think I join most men in the world when I say that "Wild Things, I KNOW I LOVE you!"
