Summary: Jaws 2 was so good!
Review: Sequels aren't always terrible, they're not always better than the original, they're not always as bad as the original. This one is not as good as the first, but I still think this is an amazing film. I feel the film is a lot like the first, the same characters from the first are in it, it's set in the same place (Amity island) and the shark is just the same really.

This time this one is mainly about a shark, from the same family as the one from the original -- I think -- which is coming back to the island to finish off the work the other shark started. Cheif Brody (Roy Scheider) believes that the mysterious deaths occuring in the water might be the work of a shark, soon he gets too close and starts to panic people, and he gets fired. Then a group of teenagers (two being Cheif brody's two sons) sail out to sea, but then the shark comes to wreck havvac on them, so Cheif Brody tries everything he can to save them all.

This film is no match to the original film, but it's good fun, and can keep you on the edge of your seat at points. I think this film has more shark-action then the original and the body-count is much bigger, but it just seems to be missing one small thing that makes the first film so great. Still, this is a\ brilliant film. Be careful about 3 and 4 though, as they aren't really as great.

Summary: Incredible!
Review: Jaws2 is scarier than the first, but not better. The first will always be the classic best, but Jaws2 is an awesome follow up!

This time, the original shark's mate is terrorizing Amity. It goes after a group of teenagers on sailboats. It has more scray opo-outs than the first. True to say, Jaws2 is a classic!

Summary: The anti-Jaws 2 Critics were wrong.
Review: The critics were wrong in their criticysm of Jaws 2. Movie-goers like myself do not enjoy a movie because a critic tells us to enjoy it. We watch what we enjoy and for the most part we the audience decide what is worth watching--Not the critics. To mention one example, the 2nd Jaws was more believable than the first one where the so-called critics disagreed with my view. I cite one example, in the oxygen tank scene the shark, it amezes me that the critics would expect the audience to believe that a meat-eating shark would chew on a oxygen tank. It was to me a ridiculous ending of the shark. On the other Jaws, it is more feasable for the shark to be electrocuted by it biting an under-water high-voltage transmission line.

Summary: Not as good as original, but entertaining for sure!
Review: Roy Schreider carries the weight of the central role in Jaws II and does so very effectively. Another rogue shark is on the loose in Amity Island and it is up to Chief Brody to stop the huge fish. Without the other supporting characters of Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss, the movie suffers only by comparison to the original film, but nontheless manages to entertain the viewers. The scares are still there.

Buy it!

Summary: You're Gonna Need a Bigger Raft
Review: If 'Jaws 2' was the first movie in the series and it never began with the classic Spielberg film, I would say it was an exciting action movie. But no matter how many times I see this, I can't help think of the first film. Of course, I never expected this to live up to the first movie. It can't. Nevertheless, on its own, this movie is actually pretty good.

A new shark is terrorizing the waters of Amity Island. So Chief Brody's kids and their friends decide to take a rafting trip out in the middle of the ocean. Ooookay. The shark follows them out there and attacks.

This is not a bad movie, it's just unnecessary. What they did is take the first movie and turn it into a teen horror movie on water. If you're in the mood for some more shark carnage, by all means get this one. You won't be disappointed. But avoid the 3rd and 4th movies at all costs.

Summary: The Best Jaws yet!!!!
Review: Jaws 2 is a very great movie!I thought it was way better than the first one.One reason Fort Walden,Florida is a much better place to shoot a Jaws film than Martha's Veinyard. It actually has waves in this film!It has way more action,it shows the shark alot more on this film,it also has the shark swimming around instead of just showing barrels floating around the surface, which is a better thing to do.It has way better music too.John Williams has the signature music & some new music that is really impressive.Buy this movie you won't be dissapointed!
