Summary: Swill in the 1st degree
Review: During this film, I mostly laughed! But this was not supposed to be a comedy. I am not sure how a half cocked plot like this even gets the funding to be put on film. Keeping in mind that Ghost's is not a big budget movie, but a bargain bin cast in the back woods of Central Illinois... I still have a hard time giving it a break.Bad Acting, Poor Plot, plus some racial and social stereotyping that have to be seen to be believed. All contribute to making this film barely watchable. There were a few special effects that surprised me with good quality. If your favorite movies are in the Genre of "Mystery Science Theatre" fare... Then this is your movie. Otherwise, go rent Blaire Witch again, and see how far decent acting, and a good plot can take a low budget movie.

Review: The main problem with this movie is it never seems to know where it's going: is it a ghost story? Or is it a social statement? Although it has some lovely scenery and okay fx, the movie is so melodramatically slow, it doesn't achieve a whole lot. Lauren Sinclair is weak in the lead; Brian McNamara is wasted; Lincoln Fitzpatrick is a bore; and most of the supporting cast is vapid. Also, would a gun loaded with gunpowder still work after 100 or more years? Three stars for trying to be original.

Summary: Great Special Effects
Review: The special effects alone make this low budget movie worth seeing. Residents of central Illinois will get a kick out seeing the movie shot at "home" and based on a local legend. The plot is predictible but still fun to watch.

Review: This movie is well done for a low budget movie based on Spoon River Anthology. Yeah sure, it could have been done with a set in Hollywood or where ever, but then it wouldn't have been as well done because of accuracy. Using Central Il, and the people from there makes it a close to home movie. I only give it 4 stars because it's low budget, however i think the movie it's self was excelent.

Review: This movie isn't even worth the one star I gave it. There was absolutely no plot and the acting was so bad I couldn't even watch the whole movie. All in all, don't waste your money.
