Summary: GOOD MOVIE
Review: This movie is great! It's about LIbby Parsons (Ashley Judd) who is framed for a murder she didn't do. They thought she murderd her husband she goes to jail and later she finds and tries to kill her husband. This movie is suspensful. She goes out of her way to try to find her husband and kill him.

Review: A great movie full of action and suspense with a wonderful plot. Ashley Judd and Tommy Lee Jones were both superb in their respective roles. Bruce Beresford portrayed a husband of the type we all love to hate and did it well. I highly recommend this one to anyone with an interest in law or legal dramas. It's fast paced and keeps your mind racing as you wonder what is going to happen next. Order your own copy NOW!

Summary: The Best Suspense Film of the Year.
Review: Ashley Judd & Tommy Lee Jones give a spectacular performance in this extremely suspenseful movie. The only complaint that I have is that the movie ended to quickly other than that it was great film the whole storyline captures your intrest and the characters are so real. The casting job was also a good choice and not being an Ashley Judd fan I actually say she desireved every award she got fot this movie. Rent it and enjoy.

Summary: "You're worth a million bucks to me!"
Review: Ashley Judd does a wonderful job of being the perfect "taken care of" mom. Tommy Lee Jones doesn't let us down either, he does what comes natural to him and that's track down the bad guy, or girl whichever it may be. Libby Parsons gets a quick education while in prison that changes her life forever, and anyone else's life that she happens to touch. Once you've gotten into this movie it sort of let's you down because you see the end before it gets there....Watch it or Movie of the week? Watch it.

Summary: Great movie.....Great Acting
Review: Ashley Judd gives a stunning performance as Libby in this movie. You never knew what she was going to do next. This movie definetely kept me interested. I just loved the part where she called Angela and found out that Nick was still avlive. If you haven't seen this movie yet, go rent it.

Summary: Oh, just throw them in jail already.
Review: Good lord. What an awful piece of work with an excellent premise. Libby Parsons (Ashley Judd) and her husband Nick (Bruce Greenwood) have their minor problems, like every married couple, but they're okay, or so she thinks. One weekend, Nick rents a boat, and they go out for a weekend sailing. Libby gets drunk, passes out, wakes up with blood covering her clothes and no husband. She is convicted of his murder... and finds out later he faked his own death in order to take their son and run off with her best friend Angela (Annabeth Gish). Under American law, a person cannot be convicted of the same crime twice, so Libby decides (with a little help from a co-con) that when she gets out of prison, Nick needs to die. After all, she's already done the time.

I want to see Judd, Tommy Lee Jones, and especially Greenwood (who plays just as good a total slimeball here as he did playing a fine, upstanding gentleman in Fox's excellent series Nowhere Man) reprise their roles in a remake of this film directed by someone who could have done it right-- Hideshi Hino (Guinea Pig). As it stands, this is a thoroughly boring jumble of Hollywood cliches that diesn't even rate a video rental. Avoid at all costs.

Summary: Can it get any better?
Review: I loved this movie. It was the best I've ever seen. My mom and I saw the perviews and said, "we have to rent that." We did and we're glad we did. I reccomend it to anyone who likes action, suspense and Tommy Lee Jones. I've never seen a movie with Ashley and was never drawed to any but this movie has changed my mind completely. I'm still amazed at how someone can write such a great movie and put such great actors and actresses in at the same time. Rent this or buy it, you'll not regret it. Enjoy. I know you will.

Summary: Why see the movie when the trailer tells the whole story?
Review: A movie that leaves nothing to the imagination, and so much to be desired. When I saw the preview I thought that should be pretty good there is so much they can do with that idea. But why would they wanna do that it would be a good movie. If you havn't seen the preview then see this if you have then you've seen the movie.

Summary: Formulaic Fun
Review: Double Jeopardy is every bit and engrossing film ! The action and drama move at an alarming rate which keeps the audience enticed. Ashley Judd, even without makeup, is gorgeous and talented as ever ! I can definitely see why she probably (God forbid in real life) would receive the jealous treatment from other inmates. This is definitely a good action flick despite the all too well known formulaic tricks that may make it seem predictable; It's still fun !

On the downside: Although Tommy Lee Jones turns in a pretty good performance , I think his typical arm of the law chasing the "fugitive" role is reaching it's expiration date.

Also, the film felt more like a typical NBC Movie of the Week project with its somewhat predictable story, plot, and ending; It felt as though I had seen t.v. actresses like Lindsay Wagner, or Jaclyn Smith play the very same role as Ahsley Judd...
