Summary: Tim Burton makes another fine film
Review: Sleepy Hollow is another classic from the director who brought us Ed Wood and Beetlejuice. Tim Burton injects this film with plenty of creepy atmosphere and a great cast of characters. Johnny Depp is such a wonderful actor - believable and watchable. This film also manages to put some humor into the story, and the special effects are good. It's a DVD worth owning!

Summary: A Horror Masterpiece
Review: Tim Burton does it again. His direction for this film was absolutely fantastic. The deep, dark, rich colors really added some creepiness to this movie. And to add Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci to the boat, it got even better. The film is taken from the classic story of the headless horseman. Depp plays Ichabod Crane, now a police officer that dabbles in a new kind of crime investigation. He is called to the small town of Sleepy Hollow to investigate mysterious deaths where peoples heads were severed from their very bodies. While investigating, Crane develops a love interest for a lovely townsperson (Ricci). From there, Crane must decide if the Headless Horseman really does exist. All the actors give great and believeable performances. And it was really nice to see Christopher Walken as the Headless Horseman. He might not have much dialouge but he pulls off the sword swinging, snarling killer better than anyone could. This is defiantely a DVD to put into your collection.

Summary: Suspenseful and gory
Review: Usually i don't like too much gore in a movie (or in our country =P) But this movie really did catch my eye. It had many twists and turns and it really catches you in the end. I enjoyed Johnny Depp, who seems to have blossomed since 21Jumpstreet. Christina Ricci's fake accent did bother me though. All in all I loved this movie, come on Christopher Walken as a bad guy, who'da thunk it. Good movie, very suspenseful and worth the price. you'll like it for years.

Summary: Dull jelly-splasher
Review: This was a disappointing mess. The rewriting of a classic plot provided an excuse for exhaustingly repetitive beheadings with lots of fake blood flying, mystical gibberish and yet another one-note weirdo appearance by Christopher Walken. Fun for a few minutes, ultimately boring.

Summary: The Best Movie that has ever come out anywhere and I mean it
Review: Hello my name is John Rapson. This is definitly the most stunning movie ever to hit the silver screen. Everything about this movie was absoulutley Awesome and I think that whoever gave this film one star needs to see it again and again and again and........ well you get my drift. At first I was worried. You see I am the biggest fan of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow book. I have 51 versions of the book 8 of the movie and 4 on audio book. Yeah I'm Obsessed. Well I thought this was going to be some hooror fest but it is the best movie ever. Everything is as it should be and Johnny Depp, Christina Ricci, Miranda Richardson, Ray Park,Ian McDirmand etc are all wonderful at their parts. Tim Burton is at his ultimante element because anone who sees this movie will be intruigrd to it again. This will remain the ultimante classic in Horror for a long long time.

Review: I rate this 4 stars because sometimes inthe movie,they don't explain things till way later in the movie,like the Evil Eye.It is funny when they are telling the tale of the Headless Horseman and how he bacame "headless" because he was hideing in the woods and found two little girls there and said, "Shhh." And one girl who had a single stick in her hand broke it in half and the shoilders found him and killed him.It is also romantic and you think you know who is controling old Headless,but it's someone else.Very very good movie.It's now my favorite!

Summary: Deliciously over-the-top
Review: This is Tim Burton's homage to the great Hammer horror films of his youth, and it may be his most visually spectacular film ever. From Burton, that's saying quite a great deal, and should let you know that no matter what else the film is absolutely worth a close look (though prefarably on as large a screen as possible): the muted nightlike colors of the town are sumptuous, the Horseman is terrifying, and the cinematography is absolutely stunning.The story is quite exciting, and hardly ever lets up, although it's pretty easy to figure out early in the filom who is responsible for everything. The actors Burton chose for the secondary parts are terrific, but the major players were less felicitously chosen: Johnny Depp tries mightily but is just too handsome to play Ichabod Crane convincingly, and Christina Ricci is just Not a Blonde (much like Winona Ryder in EDWARD SCISSORHANDS). The actor who plays the mastermind behind everything gives a spectacularly bad eyerolling, lipchewing performance--I won't reveal the name here, but watch for the performance given after the revelation of the mastermind's identity: it's pretty unintentionally hilarious.

Summary: Tim Burton fans, rejoice
Review: There's nothing in this movie to make you lose sleep, or drop your jaw in awe. But if you are a Tim Burton fan or even a fan of old horror films you must see this. The photography and sets are just perfect for this story, and the acting is top notch as well. Just an overall entertaining "popcorn" movie with with high production values. Johnny Depp continues to be one of the most underrated actors around. He has more range and "faces" than 80% of Hollywood.

Review: This is the absolute best movie in the entire world! Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors(along with Ewan Mcgregor) The stunts are pure Nick Gillard (Star Wars) The whole movie is pure Tim Burton. My family just got a DVD player and sound system and this was the first DVD we got! Not a day goes by when I don't watch this movie. The only problem is Christina Ricci! She looks like she's 12 or 13! Hello! Johnny is perfect for the part of Ichabod! He is SO funny! I almost died laughing when he fainted at the end! Get this DVD! You will not be disappointed!

Review: I really really like this movie. This movie is the best scary movie I have ever seen. The best part of the movie was the ending then the action comes and get more and more scarer I din't see this movie at the theaters. And I thought this movie was no good so I just rented it and I saw it really scared me. I got this movie for my Birthday this was the only thing I mostly wanted. But now I own it and watch this movie a lot of times and mostly never get bored of it. this movie and Inspector Gadget (own It) are my favorite movies. I think that parents should watch this before there teenagers should warch it. because it will give them nightmares and some won't if they are not scardy cats to see it. This movie is great for boys and men because. it is mostly fighting and cutting off people heads girls or womem would really not like it only if some girls I don't know.
