Summary: Excellent performance by Jennifer Tilly & Daryl Hannah
Review: The plot to the film is pretty standard suspense...woman held captive while crazy couple hatch a diabolical plan, but the script for Jennifer Tilly was unbelievable! She took an average film and made it a blast! She is so good at playing a complete wacko that it's fun to just watch her run with it. Her lines are great and it turns the film from pat suspense into a pretty funny black comedy. Daryl Hannah is good as the captive woman. Rent it. If for nothing else but to watch Jennifer Tilly mentally unravel before your eyes.

Summary: Twisted SIck Comedy
Review: The review above is incorrect in stating that the sick doctor implanted the kidnapped Daryl Hannah with an egg from his infertile wife, (Played by Tilly). This is what this sick doctor has TOLD Tilly, and what Tilly has subsequently told Hannah, but the scene where he reveals to Tilly that the egg was NOT hers (to defend himself at her outrage for attempting an amniocentisies on "her" baby) results in his horrific and untimely end at the wrong end of a baseball bat wielded by the infuriated Tilly. Watching Tilly bludgeon her whacko husband to death with a baseball bat was the highpoint of the movie for me. ALso the ease with which she moves from happy carefree singalong simpleton to completely outraged lunatic is fascinating. Great suspense scenes and close calls throughout the movie. Movies comparable to this are Boxing Helena (another kidnap type movie) and Misery (for Kathy Bates' character)

Summary: Do not see or buy this movie!!!!!
Review: This is THE worst movie I have ever seen in my life. I recently saw this movie on USA (cable channel) and it had the worst plot and acting. This sadistic movie had a women that was kidnaped by a couple that couldnt have a baby and they tried to steel hers to raise it themselves. I dont know where this film producer was trying to go but believe me, after I saw this movie, it ruined the rest of my day. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Trust me when I say dont buy it...

Summary: Worthless
Review: This sorry excuse for a movie should never have been made. Basically, it's about a wormy doctor who abducts one of his patients. He plants an egg in her from his deranged munchkin wife. The over all quality of the film is obviously ment to seem crazy and lunitic in a thrilling, psycho sort of way. Instead, it just comes off as lame and stupid. No one in this film can act. Hide and Seek makes films like, Manos: The Hands of Fate look like Weekend at Burnie's.

Summary: Listen, you can hear the heartbeat...
Review: What starts off as a typical crime drama quickly turns into a well written black comedy. The entire cast walks the fine line between acting and insanity with precision. The characters could have been two dimensional cut-outs but Hannah, Gallo and Tilly breathe a creepy life into their creations without taking away either their edge or their humanity. Jennifer Tilly proves once again why she is an actress of the highest order. If there was any justice in the world, she would have the box-office power of Julia Roberts. This is not for those who are easily offended by graphic images, but take a chance, you might just learn something about yourself (but for society's sake, I hope not).

Summary: ''Hide and Seek'', the death game
Review: Without question, a truly awful movie. Not sure what Daryl Hannah was doing is this picture. Maybe it was part of her community service agreement with the court. Jennifer Tilly proves again how annoying and untalented she is. As for plot, character development, etc, you can forget about it. You'll soon find yourself rooting for Jason to show up on the set and kill off everyone, including the clueless and dimwitted husband (who is "seeking" his wife, Daryl Hannah). There is a reason this movie has had at least three different titles.
