Summary: Note to self....Watch this more then once!
Review: How can a man with short term memory loss investigate a murder? The answer is so interesting you just have to see if for yourself. Don't let the extreme violence of the opening scene put you off. This is exactly the kind of movie you need to have in your DVD library. You'll want to watch it more then once to understand all the things that go on and there is MUCH that goes on! I hate a film that I can figure out too quickly, which is why this is a movie I highly recommend. In a year filled with scores of simply BAD movies, this one will naturally stand out.

Summary: Remember this Memento
Review: Memento is in a class of it's own. Never before has someone had the inagination, the creativity and the talent to pull it off. Memento shines from its opening sequence (which just happens to be in reverse) through to the gripping ending. You have read 'edge of your seat' review before, forget them! The performance by Guy Pierce is inspirationally brilliant, and his ability to hold onto such a difficult character is unmatched. Amazingly well pieced together you will be left piecing your own story and you will be talking about this movie for months. Occationally confusing, it is all a part of the story, and you will thank the director for every scene, and the one before- which was the one in front. GO SEE THIS THING- you will not regret it.

Summary: The 1st thought is the wrong choice
Review: Beyond what you think you might know about the movie (if you haven't seen it) is what you catch the 2nd time you see it. This is a very good movie that goes beyong the concept brought on by "The Sixth Sense. With the central concept of "What was you last thought.

Summary: The most compelling and highly original films ever!
Review: After recently purchasing and watching this film i immediately rewound the video and pushed the play button of my video remote again. You can't look away from the screen at all. Although some people may find it hard to keep up with the film as the sceenes of the film are played in reverse, but once you have pieced this together the film fits together into an exiting and unforgettable thriller. The film contains so much information the endless twists and turns and ever unravelling storyline is too much information to take in all at once, so you need to watch the whole thing again. Amazing....Unique....Not another film like it.....Definetely worth seeing.

Summary: Bottom line: *the* best movie of the year
Review: ... if only for the scene when he's in the bathroom, holding the bottle, and trying to remember if he's supposed to be drunk or not. It was moments like that that made this film something above the usual noir thriller. I'll admit, I got lost a little in the middle when the story starts to twist and turn, but it never lost my attention for a second.

Summary: Interesting but challenging
Review: Not for those interested in resting their brain. You have to pay attention and enjoy puzzles. You also are not sure what really happened in the end or know what to believe, but hey, I think that's what made me like it.

Summary: One of the best films I've ever seen...
Review: I'm going to make this short and sweet. This is an excellent piece of film. This movie completely blew me away. With the opening scene immediately getting me interested. Guy Pearce does a wonderful job as Leonard Shelby. Christopher Nolan has really done a great job. Ironically, this movie is about a man who cannot remember...and this is one of the most memorable films around.

Summary: Best Whodunnit Ever
Review: A lot mystery movies are fun to try to figure out, but "Memento" is the only movie where it is possible to obsess on who the killer is. It is not so much what the movie is about, as much as it is fun to try to solve. I have seen it 4 times and still have questions, but rather than being frustrating, it is a fantastic puzzle to try to figure out. Most imaginitive, best written movie I have seen in a long time, perhaps ever, I am rooting for it to win for best screenplay. Do not miss this movie!

Summary: Fantastic!
Review: What a movie! I am upset with myself that I saw it at the end of it's run in my city-and with such limited theater showings, I was only able to see it once before it was gone. I need to see it many more times. For the first time in ages, I was forced to think and pay attention during a movie, and the time flew by! Guy Pearce was fantastic as Leonard. The movie could only be told in the way it was, feels disjointed at the beginning, however you quickly realize it can only be told from the end to the beginning. Carrie Anne Moss is also wonderful in her role. A must see, many times over!

Summary: James Dean Returns in Memento!
Review: This movie is a wonderful movie, from the acting to the directing, writing and editing. Guy Pearce is great and to me quite Dean-like in his portrayal of the main character. I can imagine a slightly older Dean doing this role, if only he had had the chance to mature as an actor.

The movie is quite disorienting as time is hard to figure out. Due to Lenny's--the main character's-disability, the movie is almost in reverse-time. It is serious and yet it also has it's humour.

I saw this movie twice at the theater and have not done that since Sixth Sense. This is the best movie of the last year.
