Summary: I'll Never Forget Sammy Jankis
Review: This movie absolutely blew my mind. After i saw it for the first time, I could not stop thinking about it. It is fast-paced and uniquely filmed and the performances are great. Anyone interested in mind-bending films that involve the use of the brain and contain complex plot structures should definately see this film. Anyone who [isn't] and can only be entertained by movies where someone is whipping out pistols and shooting people off of rooftops should not.

Summary: strange
Review: i liked it. it kept me wondering. well the film is backwards. it starts withwhat would be the end sequence and ends with the beginning. it is a superb mystery about a guy whos wife was murdered but by who. there are so many suspects. this movie does exit the plot once in a while to fill in another great sequence. overall this is not for everyone. if you dont like confusion dont rent or buy it. but if you like to be confused this is your movie.

Review: This movie worked perfectly, just when you think you've got everything figured out you notice something different. I've spent nights laying in bed trying to sort things out

Summary: find the menu directions online, the disc is great
Review: i give the limited edition set 3 stars, cause the supplements are great, but like everyone else, i hate the puzzle menus. most of the dvd sites (thedigitalbits.com and dvd journal) have links to the menu directions. watching the movie in sequential order is such a mind trip. it doesn't hold up to repeated viewings, though. it has a weird meandering pace. In order, the story is kind of lame. it's the characters and structure in the regular version that are the main points. I have both the regular edition and the limited edition. The regular, just for watching the movie, and the limited, to watch the sequential version.

Summary: Wow this movie's good.
Review: Imagine you wake up in the morning and you have no idea where you are or how you got there. And the next person you talk to could be using you in an elaborate plot to steal all of your money. Well that's how it is for the main character Leonard (Guy Pearce) because about 2 years ago he lost his ability to make new memories. In the hunt for the murderers of his wife he has noone he can trust because his memory will fade in about 10 minutes and he has to rely on the notes that he took at that time. And then there's Natalie (Catharine Anne Moss) a girl he just recently met and the photograph he took of her has a note on the back. She will help you out of pity. Can he trust what he wrote?

Summary: Chris Nolan should not have designed Limited Edition!
Review: I agreee with John from Houston - his review below - the battery of "tests" that Nolan has you complete before seeing anything on this disc is absurd. If you've got lot's of time on your hands and you love a puzzle, then the Limited Edition is for you. The packaging is cool and well done, but if you're like me, you got this edition because you love the movie so much you want more. Well, the "more" is so difficult to find, it isn't worth the effort.

Summary: Amazingly Mindboggling!
Review: Memento is one of the best films I have ever seen. Memento boldly tests Hollywood filmmaking and logic. If you want to see a good movie see Memento. Christopher Nolan hands down, is the best new filmmaker. If you like Memento then you'll also like his latest movie Insomnia. Guy Pearce does a fantastic job as Leonard Shelby. Carrie-Anne Moss also does a great job as the snotty Natilie. And Joe Pantoliano does a good job as the back-stabbing Teddy(or so you think . . .)

This film is absolutly confusing, but in a good way. You have to watch it about 5 or 6 times to really solve the mystery. You have to consider everything. I mean EVERYTHING! If you happen to have the May 22, 2001 issue of Entertainment Weekly then read the article on Memento, AFTER the movie. It helps you consider a lot of things you probably will miss like I did. I have yet to buy the movie but it looks like a keeper!

Heres a little about the storyline of the film:
First off be aware the film goes backwards which is pretty cool. Its put together perfectly. The film is about a man whos wife is rapped and murdered and when he tries to interfere he gets knocked-out. When he awakes he is unable to make new memories, so all he has left is everything that happened before the murder and he is destined to find the man who killed his wife.

Thats just the basics and I'm not going to give away anymore. see this movie, but beware becuase you are in fun an awesome treat! Thanks

Summary: great BACKWARDS movie !
Review: a backwards movie with surprise beginnings! By going backwards we are like the lead character - we don't know what happened shortly before what is happening now. Unlike the lead character, we do have the advantage of knowing his future. But that does not help us anticipate his past. Very well done movie that I don't mind watching over and over.
