Summary: Simply Amazing
Review: 24 is simply the best show on TV at this time. This first season is very intense, and a much watch for people who love the show, or for people who want to get into it before season 3. The only problem I have with these DVD's is the packaging is a bit on the cheap side, but that doesnt effect the quality of the show in the somewhat cheap package.

Summary: Best New Show of 2001
Review: This is easily the best new show of 2001, and the best drama of 2001. There are two truly original ideas in this series. First, the story is told in real time. Each episode is one hour long, and one hour of the day. There are 24 episodes which totals 24 hours for the season. The other original idea is the multi-camera angle view. This allows us to see what is going on from different angles of the scene.

As for the show itself, it is awesome. This is one of the most suspensful shows I have ever watched. Everything that happens keeps you thinking on what just happened, and what is to happen next. Kiefer Sutherland plays agent Jack Bauer of Los Angeles CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) trying to stop an assassination of a Presidential candidate. They know that the assassination attempt will happen at one point of the day. It starts out at midnight and goes for 24 hours, ending at midnight the next day. Everything else that happens, well, I bet you never saw it coming.

This show is awesome, and I would recommend this DVD for anyone who likes drama TV.

Review: Fantastic series - Season One of "24". I wonder when Season Two will be available?

Summary: The Jack Bauer Power Hour
Review: "24" is an intense and addictive show. Many shyed away from this show because they feared that if they were to miss an episode, they would be completely lost. This DVD is the perfect way for those who missed this season to find out what they were missing.
The premise of the show is listed above, so I will not go over it again. The main players are Jack Bauer, Senator David Palmer, Teri Bauer, Kim Bauer, Nina Meyers, etc.
The first 10 or so episodes are simply a work of art. They flow so well, the double-crosses are unexpected, the stories are riveting. Everything simply fits. The suspense is so high that you will blow through these episodes and be unable to stop.
Things do slow down after about halfway through. That doesn't mean things get bad or anything, by no means. The second half of the season is better than practically anything else on TV, just not as brilliant as the first.
In what would look to some as a simple game of intrigue and gunfights, there are real emotions at stake too. "24"'s characters are believable and the drama is touching. Particularly David Palmer's dilemma over his family's troubles, which he prioritizes far above the assassination threats against him.
The DVD set is good, but fairly bare bones. There is an alternate ending that changes things completely, but it doesn't make quite as much sense as the actual one, and kills a lot of the drama. It's disappointing that there are no chapters, so if you stop watching halfway through an episode, you'll have to fast forward to get back to your place.
This show is one of the best shows on the air, and owning the DVD set is well worth it. There are episodes that you'll want to watch again and again, particularly the pilot episode. Buy it, you'll be glad you did.

Summary: 24 - Season One DVD
Review: This is one of the best shows I have ever seen. I am so glad that I bought the DVD set, because I can not imagine having to wait a whole week to find out what happens next.

This is an edge of your seat, spine tingling, can't believe this is happening show. They have created a masterpiece with 24. It takes place in real time and has you holding your breath waiting to see what will happen next. You better be ready to stay up late because you can't help but get hooked. 24-Season Two should be available soon, better reserve it now.

This is a definate must have for anyone who enjoys good suspenseful entertainment.

Summary: IS THIS TELEVISION? AMAZING!
Review: Wow! Just finished episode 24 of 24 last night...amazing! If more shows were this good I might consider getting my cable turned back on - or, heck - maybe even upgrade to Digital Cable. 24 gets you hooked from episode 1 and does not let you go until the end - a few grumblings: Was it just me, or was Dennis Hopper the weakest acting link? I love the guy, but his accent was miserable! Also, I've always hated amnesia plots, always felt they were cheap, but actually here you can see why stress would have caused it...but c'mon, to end up in the arms of your former lover - a little too much. Hey, I'm just nit-picking. The series really doesn't require you to suspend too much disbelief - it's a lot of fun. Enjoy.
Oh - where can I sign up for the cellular service they have?

Summary: Unbelievable
Review: This series is unreal. Normally TV series only have a couple of good episodes but this is truly the most intense thing I have seen in a long time. Not your usual plot with just one or two story lines. Each episode adds some new twist to the plot. If you've been looking for a good suspense that leaves you wanting much, much more then get 24.

Summary: Fastastic
Review: I couldn't stop watching the DVD's & watched the entire season in one weekend!
