Summary: a waste...
Review: It is a horrible movie I've ever watched. I would not recommend this movie to anyone.

Summary: Good wild ride, cool movie.
Review: This was a cool movie, not your everyday movie. Granted, this movie is not for everyone but if you're a fan of Oliver Stone's ... don't miss it.

Summary: YOU MEAN DEAD END!
Review: This was one of the worst movies of the year! The whole plot was stupid and the execution and direction made it worse. No one should be more embarrassed than Jon Voight. This is verifiable evidence of a low point in his career. Everyone else in this film should leave it off their resumes as well.

Summary: The worst DVD in my collection
Review: This is the worst DVD in my 60+ collection. It should have been one of the best. With Oliver Stone directing, Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, Powers Boothe and the curvaceous Jennifer Lopez acting - it all sounded like a recipe for success. But the directing is aimless, the acting is b-movie, and the editing is lazy. Even jennifer Lopez is made to seem unattractive. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Summary: Don't miss it!
Review: I thought this was one of the greatest movies ever made. Why were people annoyed with all the camera angles? I thought it was pretty cool. I do have to admit that it started to slope down after about an hour, but picks itself right back up when Grace (Jennifer Lopez) offers Bobby (Sean Penn) to kill her husband. Very intense near the ending when they get pulled over by the sherrief and all sorts of crazy things start happening. Very twisted and sick ending, but I like that in a movie. Best money I ever spent and even if you don't like the actors in this movie, you'll like the movie, I gurrantee it!!!

Summary: It starts off great! What happened?
Review: First 3/4 hour: 4 Stars Middle: 3 Stars End: 2 Stars.

U Turn gets off to a great start. A guy's car breaks down in the middle of a hick town and he has to try to get out. When he's meeting hicks in the town, it's hilarious. But then it suddenly starts getting silly and feels like they were making it up as they went. But gripes aside, Claire Danes is very funny as the local moron.

Summary: Hilarious! One of the best movies of 1997.
Review: If it's possible, this film is an excellent example of Hick Noir. Penn sums it up best when he asks deadpan, "Is everyone in this town on drugs?" Sometimes it seems so. The supporting cast is stacked with actors like Claire Danes, a trailer-park femme fatale, and River Phoenix's lil' brother as Toby N. Tucker (TNT). Do you know why folks around there call him that? "Because they're not very imaginative."

Summary: EXCELLENT FILM
Review: How can one describe this movie Sean penn at his best he plays bobby a neat character shady yet u find yourself routing for this guy at the end . However Jennifer Lopez character i hated her and how bout Juaquin phoenix character what a joke Best line i ever heard in the film ( IS EVERYONE IN THIS TOWN ON DRUGS ) Nick nolte character also excellent John Voight character very strange didnt think he was necessary in the film

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: VERY Entertaining..................but a little bit bizarre.
Review: After watching U-Turn for the first time on video I realized that there are some really strange towns in this country, and a lot of strange people. I would have gotten the hell out of Superior,AZ as fast as I could, but I would have brought Grace along with me. Oliver Stone makes probably one of the most unpredictable movies that I have ever seen.
