Review: This Movie is not to be overlooked. Penn, Lopez and Nolte deliver a fantastic performance in this road movie thriller. It's like a fever nightmare. The aesthetics in this movie is very weird, and that's why I a lot of people don't like it I think! But it's really a very good movie. Thank you Stone.

Summary: A great comedy
Review: Now I may just be a sick, twisted human being, but I found this movie utterly hilarious. Although the look and direction are similar to Natural born killers, I don't think I have ever seen anything like this. It takes elements from Red Rock West and fuses them with Natural Born Killers. It is unlike anything you will ever see. For the people who found it hard to sit through, you need to know that Mr. Stone never intended for this to be taken seriously. It is his version of a black comedy and he succeeds. The BEST part of this film has to be the characters. I mean, who, out there did not find TNT (Toby N. Tucker) hilarious? What about my main man Mr. William Robert Thornton as Darrel? There is also a painfully funny performance by Nick Nolte. The man is just too good. It was also cool too see Bo Hopkins pop up for a brief cameo. I really enjoyed seeing Powers Boothe and Nick Nolte together in a movie for the first time since Walter Hill's Extreme Predjudice. I loved the camera work and adored the photography. It has to be said that this is one of Sean Penn's best performances and it is pure pleasure to see his smart-ass, low-life character get just what he deserves. Check it out, it's one hell of a good time.

Summary: Tied me up in knots!
Review: U Turn looked like a Quentin Tarantino type film filled with gratuitous violence and sex. It was,but Quentin Tarantino has a sense of humour and he doesn't keep his characters down. The bad luck that Sean Penn was experiencing just tied me up in knots. Nothing good happened in the movie. The ending was too predictable. The only good thing in the whole movie was Jennifer Lopez.

Review: The person who deserves all of the recognition is the curvascious Jennifer Lopez. She had a very tough role to play in this movie because she was engaged at the time. The only reason I got this movie is because of her! You go girl, and keep up the good (and I do mean "good") work!

Summary: I can't see what everybody's problem is
Review: I was never more confused when I heard the critics review thismovie in 1997. They were all saying that this movie went absoloutleynowhere. Oliver Stone just wanted to make a movie for people to enjoy. I really enjoyed it. Its funny, witty, thrilling, tragic,and just plain fun. This may be one of Oliver Stone's least serious movie, but that is just fine by me. Give the guy a break! After doing serious morality movies his entire career, I think the man deserves a break. And if you watch this movie with the right attitude you are surely going to enjoy this.

Review: It's nice to come across movies of this kind once in a while. Too much of what Hollywood produce is formulaic crap, straight off a production line. There is an weird eeriness to this movie. Penn, as one would expect is superb as the slightly less than likeable main character. Jennifer Lopez is not only stunning (what a babe!)but also a talented actress. She is convincing here as a manipulative femme fatale. One feels sorry for Penn because who wouldn't like to be manipulated by Lopez. All in all a memorable movie.

Summary: Sean, I love ya honey, but this just isn't gonna cut it.
Review: Setting this movie in a dry, dead end town parallels the story of this movie perfectly. The acting is fine, but it is so desolate and perverse (I'm sorry but I don't find incest entertaining no matter who directed or starred in it) that it dragged me down with it and I couldn't even muster 2 stars out of it.

Review: All I have to say is Jennifer Lopez did a great job and NO ONE could have done a better job then her!It was probably a hard movie for her to do cause all of the things she had to do but she did it in such a passionate way.I also thought doing it in Surperior,AZ was a great cause it is a very small town and very hard to get out.And I really recommand this movie if you want a romance and a thrilling movie this is the one for you!I LOVED IT!
