Summary: Great Suspense and Compelling Character Study!
Review: This is an extremely well acted character study and a suspenseful detective mystery. The expert mix between the two genres is what makes this one unique. A spellbinding performance by Jane Fonda, a smartly calculated, multi-layered performance. Fonda draws this complex character masterfully making her one of the best actresses of her generation. Donald Sutherland is equally impressive as the quietly mysterious Klute. Great plot manages to create some suspenseful moments. Alan J. Pakula is a great director when it comes to working with good actors and he delivers us a provocative and fascinating film. From a scale of 1-10 I give this film an 8!

Summary: Fonda at her VERY BEST
Review: This movie is very very good. Read the synopsis given above these reviews. It nails the movie to a "T". Often times, those reviews drone on, however, this one really does the movie justice. What it fails to mention, is the soundtrack. The music is smooth and haunting. The DVD is a must have, for this movie must be seen in its original aspect. It's a Pakula classic. One of his three masterpieces from the 70's (the other two being "All the Presidents Men" and "The Three Days of the Condor".) Plus, Fonda's shag hairdo is probably the coolest hairstyle on any woman in any movie of the 70's!

Summary: Great!
Review: Who would ever think Jane Fonda is so hot, sexy, trampy and amazing actress...an amazing look at the world of high class prostitution and what they think and feel about what they do. All studied and mixed into a fantastic thriller. Worth it!
