Summary: Another Great Douglass Film
Review: I thought that this movie was great! I really loved it. Douglass has done it again, without him, this film would be terrible. I know that a lot of people hated this movie, like my friend. But do you know what his favorite movie is? "The Avengers" possible the worst movie ever made. The people who made "The Avengers" were just wasting time, money, and video's to record onto. If your a fan of Douglass then rent or buy this movie. You wont be dissapointed.

Summary: Worst movie
Review: This is undeniably a bad movie. However, many people enjoyed it. I have no clue as to why. I know this one kid, whose obsessed with this movie. GET A LIFE, MAN! Truthfully, this movie was overrated, and Michael Douglas's worst film. If you're not particularly fond of movies with weak plots, extreme coincidences, and horrible endings, I recommend that you not waste your time viewing this terribly inept film. After all, you only live once, right?

Summary: WOW, The Greatest Movie I've Ever Seen!!!!
Review: In my life, I've never, ever seen a movie with this much depth. O My Goodness, if you've never seen this movie, PLEASE, for the sake of mankind, watch it now. Trust me, I've seen just about every movie out there, there is none to compare. There is no way this little review will even do the movie justice. On a scale from 1-10 it is a freaking 100!!!! I own it on dvd, and have watched it numerous of times. Every time someone in my family or a friend comes over to my house and tells me they've never seen it, LOOK OUT!!! They, whether they want to or not, get to see it at that very second. Then after the movies over, all I hear from them are, "Geez, why haven't I seen this by now"? Or, and I'm not making this up, they will look as though something hit them square in the face!! This movie will open your eyes to the way film out to be. My God, it's AWESOME. My profession in life is in the music industry. The music on this movie, well, it deserves more than any award thats out there now. It deserves something way more than that. This movie moves me. The filmwork, the lighting, the acting, the choice of clothes, scenes. I could go on and on, just for YOUR sake, watch the movie. You will NOT be disappointed in the least bit. A truly incredible movie.

Summary: Great suspenseful mind-twister
Review: Lots of people did not like this movie, and I cannot understand why. Good acting for the most part, tight story, shot well, great suspence, and some nifty twists and turns. What's not to like?

Sean Penn is fantastic as usual, and Michael Douglas plays himself as usual (including the rich part). It's not the absolutely most original plot in the world, but it is quite enjoyable.

Summary: A thinking man's movie...
Review: If you are looking for a simple action or a simple thriller, this is NOT your movie.... However, if you are looking for a movie to maybe change some of your views on life, as well as be entertained.... I HIGHLY suggest you watch (or buy) this movie....

As long as you don't know many plot details....I've never seen anyone disappointed at the end....

Summary: Michael Douglas is more than adequate in this role as go-for
Review: Michael Douglas is Ted #7, clerk and go-for for famous and dearly cruise-ship departed L Ron Hubbard, in this biography of Hubbard's last days before he went trolling the Caribbean on route to Switzerland to establish the now legendary Hubbardian Swiss Bank Accounts. Along the way we get to listen to John Goodman, as L Ron, philosophize about a great many spiritual ideas. Some of his most interesting ideas, however, are about running a church. "Separate the men from the women and children." "Keep them all slightly hungry - it throws them off balance." "Sleep with as many of them - all of them - as you can." "Remember our first rule, bankbook donation first, then the bedroom." "If ya gotta use a lotta tin cans and radio wires to impress 'em, then just DO IT, dammit." L Ron's most winning and charming ways, however, were at dinner, where he could down a 32 ounce steak (and always win a free meal), drink til the liquor was coming out of his eye sockets and he smelled like a first year embalming student's experimental mistake, and grab a waitresse's nether regions faster than Koko, the gorilla could burp up a bad banana. He was, in short, larger than life, a he-man among men, engram clear and proud of it, crusty (he had cradle cap - didn't believe in hair washing),and usually loaded to the gills. He has been sorely missed; he will remain so. THey just don't make men like him anymore.
