Rating: Summary: Excellent Suspense, Comedy, and Horror Review: In all honesty, these people did a wonderful job of bringing the board game to life. Also, these people managed to combine horror and comedy well. (Something many people try at and do not achieve.) These people have the true concept of horror and suspense down. (A taste of it, without overdoing it to the point where it becomes absurd.) The images are well done, and suspense is well placed. The humor is highly sophisticated. (Many movies today rely on low class slap stick.) The comedy in this movie is conducted almost the way a good conductor would conduct a symphony, or the way a good writer would conduct poetry. The director also did a great job of creating several different, memorable, and well developed characters. The tension is tightened and released at appropriate intervals, and the movie is never boring. My only complaint about this movie is that the ending where Miss Scarlet was the guilty party would have been quite sufficient. In my opinion, this ending made the most sense, and there was no reason to add multiple endings. But aside from that, this is very close to a perfect horror movie. It is great for a dark night or Halloween!
Rating: Summary: Could this movie get any funnier? Review: Probably not. This is my absolute favorite movie of all time. My obsession with this film goes to psychotic lengths. I've worn out two VHS copies from perpetual viewing and have since bought another (and the DVD) to tide me over. No matter how many times I've seen it (and that's easily in the hundreds) the movie never fails to crack me up. I've seen this film 4 times in one day (on multiple occassions) and still not gotten tired of it. It's witty, clever, and hilarious. The performances are superb and the script is incredible. As close to comedic cinema perfection as I've ever seen. If you like comedies, or whodunits, this is the film for you.
Rating: Summary: Clue is the greatest comedy ever Review: Clue is one of the greatest movies ever. The story is much more interesting then the board game's, and so are the characters. Lesley Ann Warren delivers a decent performance as Miss Scarlet. Martin Mull is also mediocre, since Colonel Mustard has awesome possibilities. Christopher Lloyd fills in nicely as a poorly written character. Madeline Kahn has her moments, but not enough. Eileen Brennan and Michael McKean are simply hilarious as Mrs. Peacock and Mr. Green. Even Lee Ving is good as Mr. Boddy. But the ultimate character is Wadswurth, played by Tim Curry, the greatest actor ever. It may not be as slick as other films, but it is still a great movie, due to Mr. Curry's performance. A must see!
Rating: Summary: Clue- THE FUNNIEST MOVIE ANYONE'S EVER SEEN! Review: The movie Clue is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, not to mention one of the most clever. Each character is so uniquely different from all the others in such a humorous way. It's one of those movies that's very enjoyable with a group of people, and pretty funny, too when you watch it on your own. Talk about funny- I give Clue five shining stars and two thumbs up!
Rating: Summary: One of my favourite movies. Review: Clue is a great movie. It's one of my favourites and I have probably seen it about 15 times. It has a very good cast including Tim Curry, Christopher Lloyd, Eileen Brennan, Michael McKean and Madeline Kahn. Clue is also an interesting movie. It's a mix of comedy, suspense and mystery. I particularly like the three possible endings. I have met few people who have seen Clue and I think it's a very underrated movie. The critics didn't really like it that much either. Leonard Maltin only gave it an average review. Maybe you just have to have a certain sense of humour to like Clue.
Rating: Summary: One of the Best Comedies Ever Review: This is one of the greatest comedies I have ever seen. The acting skills of Madeline Khan and Mr. Curry are outstanding. I have watched this movie many, many times and am quite pleased to see it released on DVD.

Rating: Summary: If you like unfunny movies, this one's for you! Review: A group of unsuspecting characters with aliases gather in a giant mansion, only to find murder everywhere. "Clue" tries to be a black comedy, but it's not. Not only is it unfunny, but the acting could use a bit of work. The movie is too long and dull. And if you think you can solve the mystery, it's impossible, due to the fact they don't give you enough information. A movie any film-goer should stay away from.Starring: Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry, Madeline Kahn, Christopher Lloyd, Michael McKean, Martin Mull, Lesley Ann Warren.
Rating: Summary: The must see comedy of the past 15 years! Review: Clue is based on the Parker Brothers Board game that we all have heard of, but is much better than expected after you first see it. With a good, thought out plot, and lots of humor, Clue proves to be one of the best comedies of the past 15 years. The plot begins as all the guests arrive to a house in New England(1954) for reasons unknown to them. They find out that they're there to confront Mr.Boddy, the man who has been blackmailing them for years. Wadsworth ,the butler, explains that they can put him in prison if they all tell the cops their story, and end the blackmail. Mr. Boddy then hands each guest a box with a weapon in it, and tells them he will turn out the lights, hoping to find Wadworth dead, but it is Mr. Boddy who is killed, and no one knows who did it. In the end you find out who, but with three different endings, it will leave you thinking.
Rating: Summary: The BEST movie ever, period! Review: This happens to be an amazing movie. Its for those times when you just need to laugh out loud. I have seen it several times, and every time is as good as the first. The quotes have multi purposes and the acting is good. You will see people you know from other places, like Jonathan Lynn and Tim Curry. The three different endings leave you thinking, and it is a true play along murder mystery.
