It has 105 watts per channel to 6 channels, with a 140-watt subwoofer. The progressive scan DV-C6660 DVD player has a 5-disc carrousel and is compatible with CD-R/RW, VCD, SVCD, and MP3 audio files. Yamaha's PlayXchange system allows you to swap out four discs while the fifth is playing. The Cinema Image feature recognizes a movie and softens the brightness for better viewing on conventional direct view TVs; it also improves the visibility of dark scenes and reduces picture noise. It features component, composite, and S-Video outputs and a mixed 2-channel audio output with 3D surround sound. The HTR-5660 receiver provides DTS ES Discrete 6.1, Neo:6, and DTS ES Matrix 6.1 decoding as well as Dolby Digital EX and Dolby Pro Logic II decoding.
