Summary: Audio great/DVD Not So
Review: The audio is awesome. I'm very pleased with the sound.The DVD player started out great, but after one month, quit playing half of the DVDs I own. These same DVDs played fine on other players in my home. I had the same problem as a previous reader, it constantly skipped the bad portion of the disk over and over until it finally stated the DVD was invalid and ejected. I too had to ship it back to Philips Service Center for repairs.

Summary: Great System!!!!!
Review: The Philips DVD Home Theater MX1015D is the best purchase i've made in a while, setup was very easy with color coded wires, onscreen display for setup. I've recently refinished my basement and made sort of a "game" room that's 26' long and 15' wide and the sound I heard from the system was incredible so I'd say if you were looking for a "great" system for a "great" price, I would suggest this one...

Review: The system was easy to set up and the sound is AWESOME! It took me a few days to actually figure out all of the functions, but the book is extremely helpful. Once I got the speakers programmed to the dimensions of our room, the system came alive. Movies and Music will never be the same!! Great product.

Review: Yes, it has mp3, DVD, CD-R, and CD capability. Great crisp sound with very nice resolution. This system puts out lot's of power. Great for any home theater or entertainment center.
