Cambridge SoundWorks MegaTheater 510 DVD Home Theater System

Summary: Man, did I try!!!!
Review: After moving into our new house, we quickly decided to by a Theater in a Box system for our family room to support our plasma TV. As a owner of Cambridge Speakers (used for my basement system) and reading some of the reviews on the new Cambridge MegaTheater -- it was a no brainer -- get the 510. Small, compact, great sound -- everything we wanted. I received the 510 and quickly set everything up (very easy install). Went to open the DVD tray and nothing happened. After trying several times, I called tech support and they said we will send you a replacement. One arrived and I plugged it in immediately. The sound was excellent. During the next several days I started having problems with the DVD player recognizing DVDs. The problem got so bad that each time (and it was often) I had to 'reboot' the system just to get the DVD out of the tray. Each time I took the DVD and tried it on my other system -- worked just fine. Long story short -- when it works, the 510 sounds great. However, the catch is 'when it works'. There is so much to like about the 510, but it's horrible (component -- not speaker) quality has made me send it back and NOT ask for a replacement!!!!!

I gave the 510 two stars because it really has a good sound. As for component quality -- just horrible!
