Summary: A movie that you'll never forget!
Review: Add together the elements of Quentin's ear for dialogue, a wonderful cast, great acting, and unforgettable scenes of ultra-violence and you have a film that you'll talk about long after having seen and experienced it. Not for the "casual viewer".

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great features
Review: I can safely say that i got my moneys worth when i purchased this fine film. The only downfall is the quality of the images in the booklet. Other than that, i am extremely content with this DVD. The extras and not to mention the interactive effects in the menu is awesome! It is a MUST HAVE for Quentin Tarantino fans! If you loved Pulp Fiction, you'll love Reservoir Dogs. Plus you can see where most of the elements in Pulp Fiction originated from by watching this film. Buy it, love it, embrace it under a warm blanket next to the fireplace as you would a loved one.

Summary: A CLASSIC
Review: For those who are staying away from 'Reservoir Dogs' because they have heard how violent it is, think again. Quentin Tarantino has wrote a breathtaking screenplay with some excellent plot twists and turns and has approach to directing is unique and amazing. 'Reservoir Dogs' is a classic. Our story starts off with a failed heist. Mr. White (Harvey Keitel) and the horribly wounded Mr. Orange (An excellent Tim Roth) escape to the hide out and meet up with Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi) to try and figure out what went wrong with the heist. They slowly figure out who is the "rat" through stories of violence and betrayal. This movie is most famous for it's ear cutting scene but it's truly just another scene in the film. When you watch the film all through, the scene doesn't stand out much but still leaves a lasting impression. Of course, the real stand out of this film is the acting. Great actors such as Chris Penn, Michael Madsen and Lawrence Tierney all pop up and entertain us. To prove just how good the acting is: Read the script and then watch the film. The script is entertaining and well written but it is the actors that really bring it to life. Quentin Tarantino has came up with a truly outstanding film that deserves all the praise that it has won over the ten years since it was released. Although Tarantino would go on to direct the superior 'Pulp Fiction' and the even better 'Jackie Brown', this film is his first film and a very impressive one at that.

Summary: Better than I expected
Review: Reservoir Dogs is Quentin Tarantino's first movie and it proved right away that he was a genious. he is an extraordinary writer, perfecting the dialogue and details of every scene. Reservoir Dogs actually gets 4 1/2 stars in my opinion.

5 criminals are brought together by Joe (Lawerence Tierney) to pull off a diamond job at a jewelry store. He assembles the guys and give them aliases to protect each other's identity: Mr. Blonde (Micheal Madsen), Mr. Pink (Steve Buscemi, Mr Orange (Tim Roth), Mr White (Harvey Keitel) and Mr Blue. Mr. Pink: "Why am I Mr. Pink?" Joe: "Cause you're a faggot"

The opening scene takes place in a resteraunt with all the guys sitting at the table. The next scene is Mr. White driving to the rendevous point after the heist with Mr Orange in the back, shot in the gut. Once they get there Mr. Orange passes out and Mr. Pink shows up at the warehouse also. Mr. White and Mr. Pink go into another room and talk the situation over. They both agree that some crew member ratted them out, and try to figure out who ratted them out. Mr. Blonde shows up calm as ever and explains why he went on a shooting spree in the store. "someone set the alarm off...if they would've followed the directions i gave them i wouldn't have shot em'" Nice Guy Eddie (Chris Penn), the son of Joe is on his way there. While he's trying to get there Mr Blonde shows Mr. White and Mr. Pink a surprise that he thinks they'd like. he takes them out to his trunk and shows him a cop he had kidnapped from the jewelry store. They take him in and beat on him and torture him until Eddie shows up. He takes Mr. Pink and Mr. White to get rid of their cars to get rid of evidence. He leaves Mr. Blonde to look after the passed out Mr. Orange and the cop. He starts beatin on the cop and slices his face and cuts his ear off. "Be right back" he says and goes to get a gas can out of his trunk and empties it all around him. The cop is pleading for his life. Blonde pulls out his lighter and just as he was ready to light it Orange empties a clip into his stomach and chest. I won't spoil the rest for you.

Overall a great movie. Tarantino's 1st masterpiece. I think it was better than Pulp Fiction. Great directing, great writing and most of all great dialogue, just as in Pulp Fiction. That's what sticks out in my mind with Tarantino..his ability to write what people would actually say and putting the right dialect on it and everything. The only problem i have with this movie is that I think it should've been longer to tell the story more thourougly. But overall a must see movie. Rent before you buy, not everybody's favorite type of movie.

Summary: What else can i say that has not been said already.
Review: Tarantino rocks. No doubt about it. It's been a while since I watched this one. It reminded me of how much I enjoyed it the 1'st time I watched it. That's all I have to say. I would have said more but everyone else have said it already. I will add my thoughts though. This movie is actually funny as hell, some parts, Like the beginning coffee shop/resturant when tarantino given his speech about Madonna's 'Like a virgin' and Pink's reasons for not tipping. What Tarantino has done is truly a masterpiece. Oh yeah, Mr White lives !!!!!!!!

Review: I always ask myself what I liked more out of all the Tarantino
movies reservoir Dogs,True Romance,Pulp Fiction and I would have
to say it would be Reservoir Dogs.Bloody, profane, and totally
entertaining great acting by Keitel,Buscemi,Roth,Penn,Madsen,
and Tierney.Funny at times,But it is a dark, brutal film about
brutal dark people. But all of the charactors are cool in the
slick criminal kind of way.The movie is loaded with profanity and
graphic violence so be aware.

Summary: Viciously black brilliance
Review: Quentin Tarantino's blood spattered tragicomic tale of a robbery gone wrong still leaves an impression every time I see it. Top drawer acting by Tim Roth and Steve Buscemi. A few lapses in logic creep in here and there, but you'll still be gripped by the rest of the film. Kinda functions like a play, most of the movie takes place in one location, where everyone involved in the robbery tries to figure out what had gone wrong. Everyone who is in the movie dies except for maybe seven people. No women in at all in the film, either. Just slick villains who lose control over a tense situation. Strong stomachs are advised for certain scenes, and an ability to not be offended easily might help. The kids would love it, but this is a very adult affair. A keeper, worth buying.

Summary: tarantinos best so far
Review: personally i think resevoir dogs is a lot better than pulp fiction but thats me cuz i also like true romance better too. not that pulp fiction isnt a good movie but resevoir has equally good performances, is funnier, more violent, it has the usual dialogue of quentin tarantino which is great, kick ... 70's soundtrack, and it makes more sense. i dont know why but i just like true romance better and i cant wait for kill bill cuz it sounds like a sweet kung fu movie.
