Summary: Dramatic Yawner
Review: A crowd of people that don't get along are on the lam and take a couple hostages. The cops are mad, the mob is mad, cars are stolen, and I was bored. Nothing substantially interesting is brought to the table, and the tepid classic rock tunes selected as the soundtrack make the going even more tedious.

Basically a bunch of not-so-brights don't think their caper through and it all goes awry. The interminable dialogue interludes are downright boring, yet fitting what with the stupidity of the characters. Ice-Cube's non-acting ability highlights the moronic nature of the whole thing. Martin Sheen was absolutely hilarious as the mobster creepy guy. I laughed outloud many a time as he blathered about. I don't know if he was trying to satirize Brando's metaphysical mutterings from 'Apocalypse Now,' but it sure came across that way.

Summary: A great Crime Drama
Review: Being a fan of Kiefer Sutherland I bought the DVD of Truth Or Consequences. Why didn't we ever hear about this movie when it came out? This is one of the best Crime/Dramas I have seen in a while. The acting was great and I was surprised to see the Sutherland directed the film. I particularly liked the sub plots that were going on with Mykelti Williamsons character and Kevin Pollak's. Kiefer Sutherland did a great job both in front of and beind the camera. The story was dark and gritty takes you into the world and the mind of petty criminals. I really enjoyed this film. If you like this genre then you will really enjoy Truth or Consequences

Summary: Brilliant
Review: Great mix of fast-paced action and violence. A must see for all Keifer Sutherland fans. Not only could Keifer keep this film going alone, he is supported by a great cast - not only Vincent Gallo, Mykelti Williamson, Kim Dickens, but also keep an eye out for Rod Steiger and John C McGinley. If you havn't seen this movie yet, stop wasting time and go get it.
Brilliant

Summary: well done
Review: i watched this just to see vincent gallo's performance and was surprised to see an enjoyable movie. the plot is nothing new and kiefer sutherland has a bad haircut but it is all together an enjoyable film with a well done ending and a great soundtrack. i reccomend it but dont expect anything too out of the ordinary.

Summary: i truly love kiefer sutherland-as an actor and a director
Review: It takes a lot of skill to direct and star in a major hollywood flick, and Sutherland proves that hard work does pay off. This crime drama keeps you on edge, probabulary one of the first time you actually hope the super cute bad guys don't die. I love kiefer sutherland, and thats why I intentionally rented the movie. But once I saw it a few times--I fell in love! Definetanly the Kiefer movie you want to rent.

Summary: Kiefer Sutherland's directorial debut
Review: Kiefer Sutherland directs this edgy crime caper about a group of criminals, Vincet Gallo (Buffalo 66, The Funeral), Kim Dickens (Great Expectations 98', Mercury Rising), Kiefer Sutherland (Taking Lives, Phone Booth) and Mykelti Williamson (Heat, Con Air) who end up at the wrong end of a bad situation and they hit the rode in which case they kidnap a couple, Kevin Pollack and Grace Phillips, hold them hostage for the duration. All the while corrupt FBI agents, led by Martin Sheen (Tv's The West Wing, The War At Home) are hot on their trail and the funny thing is that the gang dont know is that Williamson is a undercover cop. Sutherland does a good job with the action pieces and the cast does a good work with the acting but It treads on offially familiar territory. Max Perlich (Drugstore Cowboy, Blow), Rod Steiger (Modern Vampires, Mars Attacks) and John C. McGinley (Tv's Scrubs, Wall Street) also star.

Summary: Not bad, not bad at all.
Review: Liking Kiefer Sutherland, I bought the DVD to check it out. With a title, like the town, Truth or Consequences NM I figured would give it a shot. I was not disappointed. The whole story focuses on the "BAD GUYS" with Kiefer Sutherland being the coldest. You can not route for the bad guys, but then again you can't route against them. The acting is really good. Except for a few questionable scenes this movie is excellent. Truth or Consequences NM. should be on your must check-it-out list. The DVD version gives you the option to watch it in pan & scan or in widescreen. **** out of *****.

Summary: Not too bad
Review: Okay, lets take this movie step by step. First of all, yes it may a tired old storyline. But lets keep in mind that there are people who like this sort of thing. So, for those people I would say this movie was not all that bad. Acting was pretty good, and the script certainly wasn't the worst that has ever been. And the directing, well, not so bad. Since Kiefer Sutherland has been in tons of movies, you would think that he would know the ropes by now. And I believe that he does. He just may need to come into his own style of doing things. All around good movie, I even cried a little at end.

Summary: It's not enough to have everyone wanting you dead.
Review: Overall I thought the movie was great! It possesses a decent story line as action movies go with some dramtical parts that burst into fist clenching action. Keifer Sutherland played a great psycho. The affection that the main character has for his girlfriend seems somewhat misplace at times but absolutly necesary for the great ending. I recommend watching this movie at least once.
