Review: powerful in your face and strong.mr. tate should be giving morejuice than he is getting in backwards a** hollywood.the man is bad.this film is as good as goodfellas.and pulp fiction and resvoir dogs can't hold a candle to this film.and as good as boyz n the hood.stronger and more gripping in some spots.tight soundtrack.

Summary: Menace has no particular storyline to it
Review: Menace to society has no particular structure within the film. Instead the director Tyrin Turner has gone for a graphic and visual potrayal of living in South Central. The characters are one dimensional and there was no attachment towards them. Although it may have more violence than previous films of the same genre, Menace to Society is not a good justification of struggle. If you want a real Gangster film watch Boyz N the Hood or South Central LA.

Review: Menace 2 Society may contain more realism compared to Boyz N the hood, but the film itself will never be as good as John Singleton's movie. Boyz N the Hood is the yardstick that all other gangsta films have unsuccessfully tried to follow.

Summary: One of the best real-life dramas of the 1990's
Review: This movie depicts inner city life on a level which had neer been reached before. In addition to the stars of the movie, the directors used such artists MC Eiht and Ant Banks to relay the message even stonger. With the release now on DVD, all the music, sounds and sadness can be viewed with digital quality. Definately one of my favorite movies.

Review: Yo' I watched this movie about 15 times and still love it!!! O-DAWG is one of the characters played by Larenz Tate..he is craaaaazy!! The movie has a good story, and very good acting!!! Boyz in the hood was good, but this is great!!!!
