Summary: A Masterwork!
Review: The Untouchables is a complete masterpiece. It is beautifully acted, photographed, written and directed. This is the kind of movie that benefits the most from the widescreen format. I am very happy that widescreen editions are more available that they used to be. Watch this film in its original form. It is stunning.

Summary: Robert DeNiro at 250 lbs!
Review: Oh my goodness! How many pounds do you think DeNiro had to gain to play the part of Al Capone! I mean, I respect the guy for gaining all that weight just to play Al Capone! It is so weird to see a typically thin guy like Robert DeNiro gain so much weight! In a way, he almost looks like Danny DeVito in some parts of the film. The dinner scene where Capone (DeNiro) was preaching the concept of "The Team" to his gangster pals was really well done, except at the end of it where he crushed that one guy's head on the table with the baseball bat! I mean, that scene was pretty graphic! For crying out loud, it sounded like he was squashing a watermelon and to think of it as someone's head, Aaaaarrgghhhh! Anyways, this is a great film and you should just check it out! Just watch it, don't talk about it!

Summary: the best movie i have ever seen
Review: sean conary and kevin costner are awesome in this action packed movie. if you like a movie where the action goes straight to the end, then this is a movie for you. based on the real life personality of Eliot Ness, this movie provides a feel for what it was like to battle against the mob and al capone

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Sean Connery makes the movie
Review: Connery gives some memorable moments counseling the younger Ness on effective law enforcement. The interogation scene is something else. The accountant closing in on tax evasion is a nod toward history.

Summary: this is my favorite movie of all time
Review: The performances are great and the action is terrific. Need i say more

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Brilliant and Riveting
Review: This film is an absolute epic. It is about the 1930's when prohibition was taking place and Chicago Treasury Officer Elliot Ness (Kevin Costner) set out to enforce the prohibition law and battle mobster Al Capone (Robert DeNiro). Based on a true story, this is an oscar worthy film. Kevin Costner, Robert DeNiro, Sean Connery, and Andy Garcia give excellent performances.
