Summary: Goodfellas a perfect " 10 "
Review: Martin Scorcese's graphic, chillingly realistic tale of the graphic life in the mob. Flawless performances by everyone involved, flawless film, flawless directing.

Summary: Just some additional Disc info
Review: Indeed this is one of the greats. However everyone buying the disc should know that it is dual sided thus forcing a flip. Not a huge drawback, but I like to know what I am getting into when I buy.

Summary: The best movie in the last 10 years !
Review: Never a dull moment. The quintessential, action-packed gangster story. Innovative film technique. One of Scorcese's big 3, along w/ Taxi Driver and Raging Bull. The movie grabs you right away and never lets go. That this movie didn't win best picture is a crock!

Summary: perfection
Review: Mistake not, this is not a movie but rather a documentary. Few, if any, movies capture the cultural subtlties and realities of both Italo-American life and small time organized crime activity during the Henry Hill saga. In short, to aver that this film is a masterpiece is a gross understatement regarding its outstanding quality.

Summary: A brilliant depiction of mobster lifestyle
Review: This is a classic mob story which has proved timeless since its release. It is the story of Henry Hill, a man who finds the only route out of poverty as a gangster. The glamour and blood, the laughter and tears are contained in the entirety of this film. The story is fresh, realistic and convincing. Join Henry Hill in his intruiging story!! Order this movie and do yourself a favor. Sit down, relax, and get ready for good times!!!!!!!!!

Summary: Possibly the best Gangster movie ever!
Review: Better than the Godfather and Scarface? You betcha. Scorcese's masterful direction, combined with the dynamite trio of DeNiro, Pesci, and Liotta, make this a classic.

If you are intrigued with the mafia, organized crime, the Italian lifestyle, or brilliant dialogue, you must have this film. This is not just a "violence for violence's sake" movie. It hits the mark because it is based on the life of real "gangster" Henry Hill.

Pesci won "Best Supporting Actor" Oscar.

One of my "Top 10" movies of all time. END

Summary: Best MOB movie EVER!
Review: A true life account of 3 generations of the mob. Paul Sorvino is outstanding and Robert DeNiro is fantastic as Jimmy Conway, the irish gangster. You will never find another mob movie like this again,Scorcese has outdone himself this time.Dont forget Joe Pesci won best supporting actor for this movie, this is a must see! END

Summary: Blows off the head of the Godfather!!
Review: The definitive mob movie. Scorcese is the master of the genre. This is the way the real mob works, with the guys on the streets, not the man at the top. Masterful performances by all involved. Lorraine Bracco is gorgeous in this movie. Joe Pesci is never going to be cast as anything other than the character he plays in this movie, a wise mouth gangster. Shows a balanced account of the good and the bad about the mob (and there are good things about it). END

Summary: Probably The Best Italian Mob Movie Ever
Review: I feel that Martin Scorsese's GOODFELLAS is problably the best Italian mob movie ever.
Maybe I am biased, b/c I like the main characters (Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, and Joe Pesci) better than the characters in the Godfather movies.
Also, the fact that the movie is based on the real life of mobster Henry Hill (played by Ray Liotta) makes the movie much more appealing.
The movie shows Henry's life as young boy and shows his life from a mob errand boy to his life and downfall as drug-dealing member of the mob.
This is great...enough said. It should be made required viewing.

The film also has:
Lorraine Bracco (Tony's psychiatrist on the Sopranos) as Henry Hill's wife; Paul Sorvino as Paulie (a mob boss); Michael Imperioli (Tony's nephew on the Sopranos) as Spider; and Frank Sivero as Frankie Carbone.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Best Mob Movie Ever
Review: This is by far the best mob movie ever. Based on real life, it's just the best
