Summary: It's a flipper
Review: DVD Edition: A great film severely marred by the fact that you have to flip the disc. Technically, the transfer is pretty good suffering from only a few artefacts and banding. Good players will make up for this.In the final analysis though, I believe consumers should not have to stand for flippers. Given the lack of additional material to make up for this, you shouldn't buy this disc until they reproduce it on a dual layer disc.

Review: Often these movies get over looked and people see it as Wow, what a great production; and these camera shots are awsome. Well yeah sure but this movie exceeds that. This will be one mobster movie that won't fade in and out of the main stream. This one is here to stay.

Review: The movie was great. I will watch it again. Is it just me or did the frames seems to freeze sometimes?? Also, I had to get off the bed and leave my wife hanging while I flip the disc.

Summary: The finest gangster movie ever made
Review: I see a lot of people complain about the authenticity of the script, saying thing like : In real life, mobsters don't behave like that. Well, first of all, none of these people know any real mobsters. Second of all, I have seen a documentary about the real story behind Goodfellas, as told by the real main character. Aside from some details his story was exactly the same as that of the movie. So, in short, this is the best and most true-to-life movie about mobsters ever made.

Review: Goodfellas is one of the few movies I can watch over and over again. I have seen Goodfellas probably 50 or more times and I still love every minute of the flick. A definite 5 star rating!!

Summary: A fascinating, microscopic look at life in the mob.
Review: An excellent detailed look at life in the mob. Scorcese starts off showing the wise guys as one big happy family with lots of money to burn but we are soon shown what vicious murdering vermin they are (particularly the characters portrayed by DeNiro and Pesci]. Some have complained that the film is overlong but I found this picture of almost absolute evil completely absorbing. It has the same sort of fascinaton that watching reptilian predators trying to destroy each other would have.

Summary: Scorsese is a master.
Review: This is without a doubt one of the greatest movies of all time. The music is superb. This movie may use music better than any other movie ever made. The opening montage of Hill growing up is my favorite part. The use of music is perfect. Scorsese can never outdo this film. It is a masterpiece.

Review: When I'm watching this movie,i'm always shocking with its music,screenplay,actors,and of course ending.I'm watching this movie for hundreds of times,and I still love it!I also read a book ''Wiseguy''.I think that this movie should be the best movie of all times.I think that actors were.Joe Pesci played a proffesional killer,he did a great job,De Niro is always best,and Liotta was the best variant for his role!I love this movie!
