Summary: what's the big deal?
Review: I knew immediately what was going to happen. After I saw through the Big Surprise, I could only sit back and marvel at Kevin Spacey's somnambulistic performance (didn't they have any coffee on that set?). Lots of sound and fury, signifying absolutely nothing.

There are much better movies out there. Look a little harder, you'll find one.

Summary: The most unexpected movie I have ever seen!
Review: Forget Pulp Fiction, move over Resevoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects makes those efforts look amateur. The ensemble cast (epecially Kevin Spacey who won an academy award for this role) is phenomenal and the interplay between characters in this film is so tight that you are surprised at every turn. The script is well-written and directed superbly. The action starts with a body count of 27 and only one clue--"Keyser Sose" the last words of a dying witness. Thus begins one of the most stylish films I have seen in years. Do not miss this film!

Summary: ONE OF THE BEST EVER!!!
Review: A must see, and probably one of the best screenplays, which makes the movie so good. There is no typical hollywood ending here.

Summary: LIKE SOLVING PUZZLES AND THE ENDING IS TRULY REWARDING
Review: Usual Suspect is the BEST movie I've ever seen in my life. Not only it has one of the best script, the great actor like Kevin Spacy turns the good movie a truly great movie. After watching this movie, I immediately fell in love with Kevin Spacy (Academy Award Winner)'s performance. I look forward to watching other new movies by Kevin Spacy on the big screen. TO PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT MOVIE SUCKED: Although it is somewhat predictable, if you DO PAY ATTENTION, there are scenes that make the viewers think otherwise. And ending is still suprising. So, let's not mock the GREAT movie just because you didn't get the movie~ =P

Summary: Mildly amusing the first time through...
Review: but this film is by no means a classic. The cute ending is good for a chuckle, however this is not enough to warrant repeat wiewings.

Summary: Best Movie of the 90's
Review: This movie is better then anything released in the last ten years. Great plot, (for those of you who hated it, watch it again, maybe then you'll (get it) Those that say the ending ruined the whole plot of the movie, dont get the movie at all. Worth watching over and over

Summary: Might Be The Best Screenplay Ever Written
Review: While some will criticize this film as too contrived, I must extend the comment of the reviewer from the Big Easy from best ending ever, to the best screenplay I have seen. If you haven't seen this film, you must!

Summary: A Classic Film - a must have
Review: Whether you've already seen the film or you've just heard about it, The Usual Suspects is a must have. Kevin Spacey narrates us through various scenes in the six weeks that the five-man group are together: Spectacular set pieces fight clever plot twists for your attention.

The DVD version contains a few compression glitches with background textures but these don't take away from the sheer enjoyment of the film. The filmmakers commentary often refers to deleted scenes and hilarious outtakes which are, I'm sorry to say, not included on this disc.

Spacey deservedly won an Oscar for this performance - watch The Usual Suspects and see why!

Summary: Let me break with tradition and hash this film........
Review: If I live a thousand centuries I will never understand the appeal of this film. True, it achieves maximum hipness and self-conscious irony (all of the usual postmodern, Gen-X symbols), but the story is frustratingly vague (ambiguity can be good, but there should be a point, even if subtle) and the characters off-putting and uninteresting. This is an Oscar winning script?
