Summary: Exceptionally Real - Believable - True Classic Film Material
Review: Sleepers is incredibly real. As a young boy growing up in the juvenile justice system myself, I found this movie to be dead-on-accurate. I wish, and I know that others who view this movie will wish the same, that this movie is taken with great seriousness, as there is definitely a problem in our juvenile justice system. The problems are portrayed in this movie with great ease. The storyline is exceptionally believable. A great movie to watch over and over.

Review: This is a great movie. It made me laugh and cry. This is a good movie for 14 and above. The teenagers in this story are like a lot of kids today. Sleepers is a GREAT movie! I am 14 years old, and LOVE every bit of this movie. You would too! (BELIEVE ME).

Summary: Lost in the hype
Review: The movie was extremely over-hyped among a certain proportion of the audience, unlike Godzilla (which was over-hyped to every1). I anticipated this movie too much (Pitt, De Niro, Hoffman, Bacon, Kirby, Patric..) and I didn't fully enjoy the movie, expecting too much. I think the movie is very well made, acted, directed, but I didn't fully enjoy it. It would be emmensely enjoyed by people not expecting a best picture contender.

Summary: What's the deal with 2 sides???
Review: I loved this movie in the theaters. When it was released on DVD, I scarfed it right up and popped it in my player. An hour and 15 minutes into the movie I find myself putting down my 40, getting off my comfortable couch and walking across the room to flip the damn disc. Hey Warner Bros., haven't you ever heard of dual layering???If I were you, I'd wait for the re-release. If it weren't for the flip maneuver, I'd have given the disc 4 stars.

Summary: Worth Seeing
Review: If you ignore the fact that the legal aspects of the film are somewhat unrealistic, this movie has a lot going for it. There is a generally strong cast, a very compelling and captivating storyline, and the whole movie remains constantly entertaining. This film is about loss of innocence, despair, anger, and revenge, and ultimately about loyalty and the true meaning of friendship. Don't be deterred by the scenes of abuse on the boys--they are haunting, but not overly graphic. Altogether a good movie, certainly entertaining, and at times, very touching.

Summary: The most wonderful and shocking movie ever!!
Review: Brad Pitt shows off his true knowledge of the world of acting in this movie. Seeing those poor little boys being abused the way they were moved me to tears. The men as little boys were brilliant actors, as well as all of the ones that played the grown up men. If movie makers would only make more films like this one, I'm sure I woulnd't ever take my eyes off my tv screen

Summary: it's really really cool
Review: I love this film!! It's really sad though. It made me realise how people experience such horrible things, though. It makes you aware of a reality that hits you in the face. I'd like to see more movies with Brad Renfro in them. He looks like a promising actor & hopefully he won't become the next Leo di Caprio!! I don't wish that fate to anyone, not even my worst enemy!! All in all a really good movie, not a movie to watch if you're prone to have nightmares, though.

Summary: Great film, lame media
Review: Great film about sex abusers getting what they deserve and how the system attacks people who should be hailed as heros. However, this is one of the few DVDs to be released that is made SOOOO cheaply that you actually have to flip the disk over in the middle of the film. Pathetic! I'll wait for it to be released properly before buying it on DVD.

Review: This movie was touching, and phenominaly done, the boys drama, and the big actors, blend so well, and the screenplay is brilliant. Sad but true, this movie rivits the watcher, I know it did me!
