Review: I'll be honest. I watched this movie just because Matt Damon and Claire Danes were in it. They both did excellent performances, and so did the rest of the cast. The movie was a little long in places and if you don't know much about law, you don't really know what's going on. All in all though, this was not a bad movie.

Review: Am I the only one who was disappointed in this movie? Sure, Coppola comes through with taut and interesting direction as usual, but the storylines were completely too "neat" for my preferences. Why build up the relationship between Rudy and Kelly, have the violent outcome, and then just say "Oh, everything's okay. No charges will be pressed." ?? Why go to the trouble of setting up Great Benefit's lawyers after the bugging was discovered to do nothing about it? Very good acting, even by Mickey Rourke, but I'm glad I didn't waste my money at the theater on this one.

Summary: A Great Drama
Review: If anyone liked "the Pelican Brief", "A Few Good Men", or any court related movie. People will, more than likely, appreciate this John Grisham movie. Has anyone ever noticed how close Matt Damon's voice is to Matthew McConaughey's voice in this movie. Anyways, Matt Damon plays a very good role in this movie, as does Danny Devito. This movie shows how real court life is, there is nothing flashy- it's very realistic. The quality of the DVD is good, not the best, but certainly worth owning. It's a dual-layer disc, but there is no noticeable layer change. Atleast I haven't noticed. The audio is decent. A must have for John Grisham, Matt Damon, or Danny Devito fans.

Review: Beutiful movie! Matt Damon plays sharp lawyer right out of law school and shows the evil's of the law. Danny DeVito plays a sharp shameless lawyer. Very brave characters. The law case with the extra storyline of an abused wife keeps you watching. Very compelling and reccommended for anyone (even if you don't like lawyers)

Summary: A movie for the intelligent viewer.
Review: This was a very good film. It's subtle humor is woven neatly with a heroic story of a lawyer (Damon) trying his first case. He puts a huge insurance company out of business by uncovering there scams. It's hard to put into words the strength of the images in this film.

Review: THE RAINMAKER... one of the many movie's I've seen,and one of the best,I'm now reading the book,talk about a page turner!MATT DAMON & DANNY DEVITO,who both happen to be 2 of the best actors in hollywood,both gave this movie all they got (simply the best,better then all the rest!!!)any way,for those people who have never seen THE RAINMAKER,well you have to,other great movies, based upon John Grisham's books are THE CHAMBER,also excellent acting(Chris O'Donnel and one of the best actors of all time Gene Hackman) and last but not least THE FIRM,(Rosie O'Donnel's crush TOM CRUISE,who does wonders acting in this movie.)
