Summary: A Very Realistic Portrayal of the Chicano Life!
Review: I've seen this movie at least 14 times! It's definately in my Top 5 movies of All time! This movie reveals aspects of the Chicano life on the streets and in prison. If you want a bird's eyeview of the Chicano lifestyle on the streets of East L.A., you don't have to go there....just watch this movie & it will escort you there itself. You might as well buy it, because you won't be able to watch it just once!

Review: Im mexican and I felt bad for my people but to see them get back at everyone in prison was great. It was interesting to see the interplay of the 3 personalities...Paco, Cruz, and Miklo...and how they all dealt with their environment. They all went in different directions but all went full circle. A definite MUST see movie!!!

Review: This is one of my all time favourites. A bit lengthy but every minute is worth it. Very good performances all round. I'm from Cape Town, South Africa and I was surprised by how easy it was for me to relate to the story. I suppose some of the way of life here is similar to East L.A.

Review: This movie has struck me in various ways that continuously makes me come back for more. I'm not quite sure why though, maybe it's the way life in today's society depicted each character's direction in life before they even knew what hit them, maybe it's the reality in reference to urban ethnic segregation. If you like realistic based action and raw violence with sympathetical situations that are affected by realistic twists, then this is the movie for you! P.S. The music to this movie is incredible!!

Review: As a speaker, I am always interested in other's points-of-view. It helps me to see what they see. This film allowed me to visit someone elses reality. The director brought out the actor's talent to move the story-line forward to a solution I did not expect. I like being surprised when watching a movie. My imagination flyes after seeing drama at it's best. Thanks for holding my attention. That actors came across as realistic. Super movie!
