Summary: fascinating look at american greed
Review: Interesting, the finance types that watch this film and see it as some sort of self-help guide about how to make it in the corporate world. Some of the positive reviews here sound as if written by starry-eyed finance undergrads or junior Bud Foxes... Daryl Hannah's acting is paper thin, and Michael Douglas gives us a preview of the character he will play in largely every film he's done since "Wall Street." The film itself is often silly, but still remarkable prescient about Information and Technology, which is financing another boom similar to the one portrayed in the film.

Watch this movie only to see how far we have progressed as a society since the 80's....???

Review: This film is so good that I play it to my board once a quarter to keep them on the ball.

Forget all those so called management gurus, just buy this film.

p.s. I agree it's way overdue on DVD.

Summary: The last act of Chraley Sheen
Review: It was the movie Chraley Sheen played the first and the last real role. Story is very interesting and viewers to follow. Fair camera work. Bad casting by the best director.

Summary: Why Only 5 Stars
Review: "(Greed) cuts through and captures the essence of the evolotionary spirit..." A powerful film on the transforming power of money and power. A look into the moral struggles of one who can have it all but gives it up. A Tour De Force...meant to be quotable...catches you up in the momentum of being bad...slaps you on the wrist..then drops you back on the side of right. MY FAVORITE FILM OF ALL TIME on so many levels. Let's face it Greed causes innovation...development...research...all to make a better widget...profits...mankind benefits...like it or not Greed is good..such a moral conundrum!

Summary: Its good. Dam* good.
Review: My favorite all time movie. And the funny thing is I don't even regard Charlie Sheen a good actor. Even in this movie Sheen is not the best actor in the world, but is the best actor for the part. I mean if you can get a 5 star movie not even using a good actor a pretty good accomplishment has been made. Honestly Douglas does 99 percent of the work here and carries Sheen on his back. Sheen was like blind with out a cane, lucky he and this part found each other. I tell you if it does not make you want to rush out and buy as much stock as you can, you need to watch the movie again because you were eating too much popcorn and not watching the movie. Of course that wont happen because this movie is so good that it will mesmerize you and glue your eyes to the screen. Its good, Dam* good.
