Review: if there's only two mob movies you see in your lifetime,this and gf part 2 are the ones to see.i could say more about this terrific,perfect film,but everything i would say has probably been said before by all the other customers.

Review: I was struck by another reviewer's comment that this film illustrates what one should go through for his family. For me, this film is about going too far for one's family. Way too far. Obsession with anything is destructive, including family. This film brilliantly explores that premise while also illuminating what the American dream for success at all costs turned into for one young immigrant and his descendants. Brilliant screenplay, direction and performances, all the way around.

Review: What can you say? Once in a great while a movie is made that just surpasses all others by leaps and bounds. And Brando, forget "On the Waterfront" and "Streetcar," this is his best performance. And who could think Al Pacino could look so young. Robert Duvall, even with the hairpiece, is wonderful. Three cheers for Mario Puzo, rest in peace.

Review: the godfather is a MUST SEE it's a timeless classic, it's the most powerful movie of all times i think it can teach all the selfish people in this world that the most important thing is FAMILY and you should provide everything for them, by ANY MEANS NECESSARY, well Marlon Brando and Al Pacino's performances were absolutely brilliant i can't really describe exactly how i felt after watching the movie but i can tell you this much, WATCH THIS MOVIE, you may not agree with the ways the Corleone family go about handling there family problems but trust me you'll understand why and you'll also learn the true meaning of "FAMILIA".

Review: What a perfect movie! There were no flaws to this movie. Though not as good as the book (are movies ever?)it was the perfect screen adaptation. I don't think it could have been made any better. Marlon Brando was so good as the Godfather who despite his deeds you can't help but love. Al Pacino was also brilliant as Michael who is an amaz\ing character who few could have pulled of so well. You find yourself caring so much for the characters and loving Tom Hagan and not being upset at the movie but more the characters decisions. This movie is so wonderfull everyone should see it!

Review: The Godfather epic is a must see. They were the greates movies I ever saw, with the fantastic acting style being combined with the totally believable and maybe real stuff. To this day I still reckon that Frank Sinatra is Johny Fontaine the smooth singer,, who could not have got where he did without the godfather's help. A 10 on any standard.

Review: The only reason I was interested in this movie before I saw it was because I heard it had Diane Keaton in it. Well after I watched I realized that Diane Keaton wasn't the main actor/actress, but I loved it anyways!! I watched over and over. Many people complain because there is so many of them and they are so long, but when you are watching it you forget about how long the movie is. You are so in the movie it is amazing. Wonderful performances by all of the actors!!! It was the best drama of all times!!!!
