Death from a Distance

Summary: Decent Horror/Mystery
Review: A doctor is shot to death during a planetarium lecture. The killer is in the room and the audience is there when the cops arrive, a wisecracking homicide lieutenant in charge. A pretty gal reporter tangles with the cop and her investigative skills are equal to her blatant flirting.

There's the usual suspects of a lot of typical 30's and 40's stereotypes such as the mysterious Hindu man, tough as nails newspaper editor, scientist, etc...but it all plays along nicely and moves at a nice pace. Also it's an old dark house type movie that gets out of the old dark house and into a different and interesting setting for a change.

The names are not too well known but you're sure to recognize some of the faces. A cheap pickup to be sure.
