Summary: Great movie
Review: A truely great movie if you like British humor. A really good movie if you can follow films with the bastardized version of English that the British speak (THATS A JOKE, don't be offended). If you have trouble following British accents, then this film is not for you.

It's a darkly comidic romp through England when a diamond is stolen, then stolen again, then stolen some more. Oh yeah, and it all starts because someone wants to get a good deal on a used caravan (5th wheel in American English).

Must see if you like different movies.

Summary: Hilarious British Humor
Review: If you are a fan of "British" movies like the Pythons and others, you will love this film. If you aren't, but are ok with the British accent, this is still a great film. If you hate listening to the British trash the American Language (that an American joke, don't be offended) then you will not like this film.

I have seen this film quite a few times and let me say this. I liked it the first time I saw it, but each time I watch it, I find more nuances that I like even more.... Plus, now I can understand Pikey (the accent Brad Pitt uses) without the subtitles.

Also, you can check out an old

Review: Some wonder if director Guy Ritchie is a one-trick pony, particularly after his fluke "Swept Away" (which I have not seen). Regardless of the answer to this question, Snatch is one hell of a trick. Since I saw it a couple of years ago, I've been pondering where to place it on my list of all-time favorites. As much as I love this movie, it will have to take second to his other British underworld movie, "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels". I may be in the minority on this one, but I stand firm in my opinion.

Why do I love these movies enough to reserve the two top spots on my favorite movies list? Probably because they contain an excellently balanced mix of the following: violence, wit, villainy, comedy, character, color, and twisted plots whose cleverness could be compared to Shakespeare's plays. These movies may seem base, but the scripts are well-written and Guy Ritchie's talent is indisputable. These two movies should be a part of anyone's collection who has tastes remotely like mine (which I'm pretty sure there are).

Summary: Where's the Superbit??????
Review: I have the original DVD version of this movie and the Superbit version. I cannot tell the difference between either. Resolution and sound are equal, at least to me. My rating is not for the movie, which is hilarious. It is for what I perceive to be a lie perpetuated by Columbia that Superbit is a superior DVD choice when, in fact, it appears to be nothing more than a re-packaged version of the same. I have not compared all original DVD versions currently available in Superbit, but again, where is the incentive since I already feel ripped off.

Review: Folks, Just so you know, "Ocean's Eleven" was released after "Snatch", and the ONLY cast member that stars in the two movies is Brad Pitt (that's it). ...and the role Pitt plays in this movie is nowhere near the role he plays in "Ocean's Eleven". If you ask me, this role is better.

The movie is great. plain and simple. Enjoy it, and you may have to watch it more than once to get everything that is going on. It is definitely worth purchasing.

Summary: Great
Review: I don't know what mike whatever is name is on about this is a great movie (also as it was realeased about two years before the remake of oceans 11[which also rocked by the way!] its unlikly the director was trying to remake it)

The movie is great fun from how to feed a body to a pig to the superlative brad pitt as a incomprehensible gypsie (or pikey)

If you havent seen this movie BUY IT NOW!

Summary: holy crap what a waste of film
Review: One of the worst movies I have ever seen, period.

The plot: oh wait, there wasn't one.

The theme: let's make an even crappier version of Ocean's Eleven, use almost the same cast, make it even more boring and pointless, and throw in some black guys with British accents.

The characters: wise-ass Brits that try, but really really fail at being funny (this it the kind of movie that morons say is "hilarious," but trust me, whenever something is "hilarious," it's not funny at all

The style: a bunch of really crappy cuts that are supposed to make you feel like the movie was cutting edge or some crap

The music: not bad, wasn't an abortion like the rest of the movie

The ending: the bringing together of a bunch of trivial crap that no one cares about. It's supposed to make you go, "Ohhhhh, wow!" but it made me go, "Oh...okay...so?"

The verdict: seriously consider suicide as a better option than this movie...it's about as exciting as a ten minute crap

Summary: Good movie
Review: I thought that this movie was really good. It had a lot of funny parts and a good storyline. I thought that The big black guy was funny as the get-away driver and Brad Pitt was a great boxer. The squeeking dog was also funny.

Summary: Watch it again and again!!
Review: Thank goodness for Guy Ritchie. He has pumped some life back into this genre of films. The Brits are hysterical and so witty. The delivery is fast, every time I watch it I pick up on a line I missed before. Brad Pitt did an outright amazing job in this movie. Makes you love them Pikeys! And is it possible to create a scarier looking bad guy than the Larry King look-a-like who keeps violent pigs? Do you remember him from Lock Stock? The filming and musical score are also premium. I all around suggest this movie for those who are looking for something new, and sick of the typical gangster American movies. Not for the sensitive and faint-hearted.

Summary: Say what?!
Review: This is a great British movie - very much British humor, and British intensity. Fast paced and a bit off-the-wall!! Don't watch it unless you can focus exclusively on it as it moves all over the place. Brad Pitt does an extraordinary job on the gypsy part! The accents are all very typical and sometimes hard to follow if you are not used to them - particularly the gypsy for me! The sub-titles are useful until you get to grips with the accents - sometimes you just can't crack these weird ones however! It's fairly violent, and, in my opinion, not suitable for kids under 16. I enjoyed it and have to watch it again to pick up all the goings on!
